Ku tang aba! That's expensive. I am assuming this was at an Food is ready aka FIR buka.

GoWithGood:
During job hunting yesterday, I became very hungry and felt like I was about to faint in the nearest possible time if I don't have something down my stomach, having left the house without food. Normally I don't like eating outside because it's more expensive and you get less for your money but due to the level of hunger I was, I had no option than to look for the nearest place to eat.

A broke applicant, I went to the least of restaurant to eat and the least price for Garri and soup was N800, here in Calabar. Hmmmmm. Na wa o. The poor are really suffocating.

Anyways, I watched one video where Tinubu said "let the poor breathe. Don't suffocate them". Standing beside him was Buhari who was looking at him with a stern eye. I don't know why he wasn't comfortable with the statement.

Please let the poor (job seekers are in this group) breathe. Don't suffocate us the more. What is even the value of naira when the lowest plate of food is N800?

That N800 pain me eh. It would have done me better at home. Now no food at home, hungry and penniless.

How much is it in your area?

In benin here, there is a place in my street where you can buy one fufu for 100, one meat 200. So with 500, you get 3 fufu and one meat. This was before subsidy was removed though.

You didn't state the quality of the food. There's difference between quantity and quality 👌

You make orders according to your needs.

40 Naira rice
20 Naira spaghetti
5X20 Naira meat

5 Naira pure water.
They think it’s unrealistic, but before this present government it was very possible.
10 years ago pure water was 5 naira
Rice was 50%+ cheaper than it is now
The fact that these people are blind to understand the true meaning behind this post.
Anyways…

You are in the right place.

Just peruse the threads and see anyone whose opinion you disagree with and curse/insult them. It will make you feel better. That's Survival 101 for poor people.

A plate of food is #3,500 here

#3,500 for 5 days? that means you eat just #700 food a day. Nawa oo. May God help you struggling men.

It’s a good idea that you’re not in a relationship, before you come and put someone’s daughter in abject poverty undecided

You and who wants to be eating #700 food a day undecided

With African technology and N5 you can eat to satisfaction.
Just teleport across time into 1960 and eat to your limit. Your will add 5kg when you return to the current future.

Damnnn niggar

It depends

Here in Benin city food is expensive

I don't know why Benin is not trending yet.
Almost everything, especially food, is super EXPENSIVE there.

Coke is #200 almost everywhere. In Benin it's been on sale for 250 since last year.
Bottled water is #150.

Everything is different in that place.

I've been eating outside since last year March and spend almost 2.5k on a daily basis, but since I was laid off last 2 months and no stable income at the moment, I don't eat outside again.
Na now I know say cooking of food pays😣

In my area it is very expensive although it depends on the type of restaurant, if you enter a low budget restaurant like mama put, it might not be that expensive, but places like these eatery is not just for the weak. cheesy grin
