An explosion resulting from a tanker carrying Liquified Petroleum Gas rocked Gwagwa, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, on Friday night.

According to the police, the tanker developed a mechanical fault and during repairs, there was a spark which resulted in the explosion.

However, no lives were lost.
