During Goodluck's administration (Southern Christian), Boko Haram grew wings and murdered Christians mostly and Muslims to, and corruption was done brazenly. Of course, until Buhari (Northern Christian) took over, he made GEJ look like a genius in all indexes except for infrastructure.

What I am saying is this, when it comes to politics in Nigeria, it is a struggle between the Political class with Clegymen and Business elite vs the ordinary man. They play him like ping pong, and he too dances to their tune. Seeking the support of the masses and winning it, is just a means to an end, the treasury.

All the opposition parties tend to do is distabilise the incumbent administration right for day one to make it look bad inorder to pave way for the former to become the new bride to the masses at the next election, using religion, tribal divide or sponsoring insecurity. It is mostly never about the masses.

When they brought MM ticket it was all about competence to justify it, now he has what he wants and willing to kneel to allow even an incompetent southern christian to be senate president to further justify their MM ticket. So even if the Muslim senate president would have been competent it would fit their narrative to have an incompetent southern christian senate president.
