You know nothing about Makinde oga, so please don't say what you don't know, the whole of Oyo state is solidly behind Gov. Makinde in all he's doings. It's only election with small margin that can be rigged, go and look at the margin with which he led his APC opponent in the last election, then you will know he's a man of the people.

Makinde as an executive Governor of Oyo State should understand the rationale behind not supporting Akpabio senate presidency better than ordinary Nigerians.

However, I think as an executive Governor he should also uphold one of the attributes and features of true democratic governance by embracing Separation of powers by the three arms of government which is independent, non interference and fairness.

Finally, our dear President should be ready to work with anyone elected as the 10th President of the senate in the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians. I think Tinubu as a twi terms governor of Lagos State should know that it can't be business as usual. Change is in evitable in our ways of life and in Nigeria governance.

Guess i miising something in this Nigeria self styled democracy. We no longer have seperation of powers with this style of executive imposing on the Legislature. They're all meant to be independent but............

Makinde didn't start as a PDP man, he has contested before in other party like SDP, if he brings a good successor people would vote him regardless of the party

Makinde started with ANPP. He contested for the Oyo South Senatorial seat in 2007 when Abiola Ajimobi first contested for the gubernatorial under the ANPP in the same 2007 when Lam Adeshina supported Tahoreed Adedoja and gave the ACN ticket to him.

It was later that Makinde moved to the SDP in 2014.
