"When you sell your brother, the buyer will never trust you."

The reason why Peter Obi is held in very high esteem even by his opponents is because he doesn't see the need to ridicule his own tribe in order to be accepted by outsiders. This cannot be said of other igbo politicians who condemn the whole Igbo tribe at any given opportunity so as to please northerners and westerners.

Orji Uzor Kalu, Rochas Okorocha, Ike Ekeremadu, and other igbo politicians combined together, they don't have up one percent of Peter Obi's electoral value. These are the people who cannot win any free and fair election. No wonder they ate their own people and their people also hate them with passion.

Look at the one in Lagos (Joe Igbokwe), despite the unwarranted attacks on Igbos in Lagos, this man will still find reasons to insult his tribesmen. In politics, if you are not accepted at home, you will be rejected abroad. How will I respect your tribe when your elites ridicule you for fun?

Orji uzor kalu followed the wrong direction like Peter girigory Obi, Orji uzor kalu was supporting Ahmed Lawn, a northerner even after Buhari, that is why he lost, he cannot be trusted, he is a treacherous saboteur, just like Peter girigory Obi sabotaged Atiku

these names you mentioned even have more political value than obi, Orji Uzor Kalu, Rochas Okorocha, Ike Ekeremadu will pull the same crowd given the time obi contested for presidency.
people voted obi because they were all tired of apc and buhari and it has nothing to do with obi's popularity.
these politicians you mentioned would also have come third position if their campaign is sponsored by tinubu the way tinubu sponsored peter obi's campaign.

Stop saying nonsense.

Tinubu was strong not because he is Yoruba, a strong politician is a strong politician.

Currently, the SE don’t have any strong politician and it’s not a matter of them selling their people.

I hope BVAS will work during Imo State governorship election so that we can see how Hope Uzodinma will lose woefully. He is in the league of Uzor Kalu, Joe Igbokwe and Okorocha.

I have never seen a set of people who hate their own people like Igbo politicians. Hopeless Uzondinma has been killing his own people, mostly youths for the past three years in order to appease the North whom he thinks hold power. If police and army should leave southeast today, most of these crooks would be banished from Igbo land. They are a shame to their generation.

You have to robe saint Peter Obi with Ole Kalu and you still have the effontary to call someone treacherous saboteur. You are a typical example of treacherous saboteur. But do you know that Obi's presidency is capable of healing you? When you are healed and sound, you won't have to continue with this dirty job anymore.

Stop reasoning like Tinubu. Can those names you mentioned win a free and fair election even in their local government? Their low self-esteem will not even allow them to contest election that is outside their own state where they can collude with INEC officials to rig election.

however, obi still did not win. Is not about electoral value, is more about alliances. Granted that rochas and orji have tried to form alliances but for some reason, the other tribes have not found a reason to give them power. I think other tribes fear igbo in general. They think igbo likes domination, there is no parity when it comes with others. However, any igbo politicians that tries to form alliances always get something for himself. For example uzodinma and rochas. I believe orji would be rewarded with some other stuff.

I guess your assertion that the east don't have a strong politician is wrong.Would Tinubu had won if he left APC to join Labour party? If OBi had upto 21governors in LP he would have gotten upto 15million vote. This is seone that joined an unknown party within 9 months and became a force that defeated TINUBU the Jagaban even in Lagos .
