Two Years Ago, Seasoned Journalist, David Hundeyin Said This.. by DesChyko(op): 7:05pm On Jun 13, 2023
It was on March 23, 2021, when David Hundeyin shared in a series of tweets that one of the end games of the Dangote refinery idea is to also monopolise the import of petrol into the country. And that is just the starting point.

Well, here we are.

An economic heist is probably underfoot.

The big question is where and when does it end?

Are we really out of being exploited by the West? Because at the end of the day, all the pillaging ends up in some fancy resort or choice properties in the West!

We really need to question the quality of education yorubas receive. Tinubu and his gang will soon pilage the country while a brown roof dweller continue to hail them
They will tell you their type of education is the best, not because of any other thing but for the sole reason of making sure their trybesman is at the helm.
As far as whatever in question is in their favor, everybody there will become a journalist writing in all print and broadcast media, backing them hate filled articles up with divide and rule propaganda.
They don't want anyone else to near power except them., If not why would Obasanjo rule 8years and Osinbajo 8years in quick succession, is there no other region in the South? All the shout for southern presidency is just for their selfish interest not really for the betterment of the south

Dangote was involved in so many shady deals with buhari

Who knows if that bst sold this country to him
Re: Two Years Ago, Seasoned Journalist, David Hundeyin Said This.. by Racoon(m):
The Nigerian public seems to be completely oblivious of the economic cost the Dangote refinery monopoly is going to constitute.

Government failed to build new refineries or make the ones on ground work because of economic sabotage via corruption of humongous TAM, overhead and personnel costs for doing nothing.

Refineries are consuming monies for refining zilch crude oil. This is the daftness zombies are celebrating as achievement.

Will it stop Igbos from pressing their necks one on one on the streets, to the extent that they are searching for protection laws? Let them find consolation in politics it's allowed

grin grin

They called him wailer..

The emilokans fought themselves at different filling stations after supporting the removal of a non existent " subsidy ".... The mandate tiv claimed it was a father christmas gift to other African countries the emilokan government is not willing to subsidize... later went behind the backs of the emilokans both online & offline and secretly awarded dangoote the sole license to import fuel...

The license awarded to dangote is the real existent subsidy to be paid by all including "the go back to your village" crew.. grin grin

Dangote & allies smile to the back while the government of emilokan Stacks enough bullion vans to the brim..

Dis life eh, e get as e be...e no Balance at all...

And Dangote is already into car assembly...

Dangote once accused Unicem of producing cement that doesn't meet standards. The case lingered in court and Unicem almost lost its license.

If not for Prof. Charles that headed COREN then, who knows what would've happened.

Lots of politics happening in every sector and the poor doesn't even have hope of growing because of the rich

He's a wailer. Not a seasoned journalist in any way. He rephrases common knowledge in a biased way for the consumption of his followers who rely on Twitter for information about policies.

We're aware of the terms and it's fair for business.
However, Dangote is not the sole licensee

Igbos blaming Yoruba for their self induced unfortunate misfortune didn't start today. E don teeh..

You guys, under Pdp produced Sp back to back consecutively. No region lamented or say a word!

Why would you serve Pdp for more than 20 years without fighting for a presidency slot? Was it yorubas fault? Did Yoruba drag anything with una in Pdp?

A presidential primary elections was approaching, instead of you people to fight to the ticket like every other candidate, you people ran away - after more than 20 years alliance... But here you're, blaming Yoruba..

Una brain box is so faulty! The journey of 40days took Israelites 40years because of lack of wisdom! Feel free to keep foaming! You'll foam for long!

You’re already in his armpit, seasoned journalist in deed. Is Dangote the sole importer of Petrol? Is he the sole manufacturer of cement? Blame the supply chain not Dangote

He got this one spot on.
Dangote is an example of capitalist greed:using government connections to corner and monopolize an industry for maximum profit for self and maximum pain for many.

Egun.

I will not bring myself to the gutter level of exchanging words with an Egun.

Only Yorubas know what Egun is

That is the quality that other tribes will never meet. We are your leaders. Dangote refinery and all its privileges were licensed by Buhari, why then do idiots bring Tinubu into the discussion?

Who is pressing whose neckhuh

You cannot have political power without economic power!

Tinubu is president today because he was able to amass a huge warchest economically.

Over the years, Nigeria's economy has firmly been in the hands of Yorubas while we played opposition politics.

Now, we are interested in political power. And we having it. cool

Continue deluding yourself cheesy

This shouldn't surprise anyone because the NNPC guy already said Dangote refinery will also sell petrol at the price of imported one. Then I ask myself; why won't a locally refined petrol barrel be cheaper than the imported one? Why then do oil producing countries need to refine their oil? Then it dawned on me that Dangote will most likely not refine - he will only replace NNPC as the sole importer and price dictator undecided
