Good day ma people

Have issues with Honda civic 09

1. Sometimes car vibrates before picking up speed
2. Sometimes it drags while sometimes it moves smoothly, you can't predict when it will do that.

I have changed plug, fuel pump, fuel injectors, throttle body, coils are ok, serviced EGR, washed MAF and tested ok
Please what else could cause this issue? Just tired.
Car scanned and no error at all, no check engine light on.

Have you noticed the check engine light blink while driving?

You may not get a code when you scan after you might have turned off your engine because the code isn't permanent yet.

you have to scan while driving/before turning off your engine the moment you notice those symptoms.

Typing from experience.

Try checking plug coils, that car has a weakness for that

Did you just clean the coil? what did you use to clean it?

Thanks for your response.

Just seeing this. Cleaned it initially, the misfire stopped briefly and came back again. I had to change it.

Low level of brake fluid occasioned by worn out brake pads or leakage.

Bad break light switch

I'm encountering difficulties with my 2003 Honda Accord Euro. When I park the car for a long period or start it in the morning, it struggles to reverse or climb steep hills.

Sometimes, it even turns off while attempting to climb, but if I immediately turn it back on, it manages to climb the hill. I've already cleaned the throttle body, and the spark plugs are relatively new, although I'm unsure about their quality. Despite recently changing the fuel pump, which helped for a while, I've started noticing the problem again within three months. When I clean the fuel pump housing, I often find debris, indicating dirty fuel.

It's frustrating because when I join the road from a bend, the car has trouble accelerating unless I restart it. I have a 2003 Honda Accord Euro. What steps should I take to address these issues?

Scan first. That is the first thing you have to do.

Check the other leg if is the culprit, also check the back hub. If all check good, check your engine seat.

Hello!

My 013 Accord usually have this sound (like schrrrrrr) when my RPM is on 1,800. I have Googled and YouTubed and the closest issue to mine that I found is about Speedometer cable (not sure whether it same issue with mine).

Please I will like to know if anyone has experienced such or can point out the issue to me so I can fix it.

Car drives very well, no CEL. Did a scan too and nothing came up.

Nurey, Gazzuzz, Luvinhubby, KingReign, JCEESQUARE and others. Thanks.

Have a competent technician check it and fix it. Remote diagnosis unavailable

I own a Honda EOD and changed its gearbox some time in February. Some time in May, I made the mistake of trying to travel with it without checking its gear oil level. The car gave me issues during the trip, but after I added about 2 liters of transmission oil, it started working properly I had to turn back to Lagos that night due to traffic though. When I returned to Lagos I went to service the car and used Holts Transmission oil to replace the old one (which had developed a smell during that failed trip).

Now recently I have noticed that the gear doesn't always click into reverse on my first try. Some times it clicks in one try but a lot of times I'll have to take it to another gear and bring it back to R before it clicks. What's the problem? Is it a gear switch somewhere or something else?

Prepare to buy another transmission again and this time around ensure you only use Honda DW1 fluid, expensive but cheaper than buying new transmission regularly.

Also EOD 2003 and 2004 have very sensitive gear ensure to change fluid atleast once in 2years if you can afford it.

I see. Any ideas about the cost of a new, reliable transmission?
