It’s actually a sad tale that Nigeria is going to import Malaysian oil palm seed 63 years after independence .

I remember my old man telling me tales of how Malaysian government came to naija in the 60’s to get our oil palm seed which they planted and years after it became a major source of income for the Asian country .

It’s ironical that we are now going there to Pay to import the same seedlings we gave them freely 🤦‍♂️. That’s just the tale of Nigeria . We just mismanage everything .

It is really fked up. I heard that there is real demand for commercial quantities of palm oil by pz and Co. Hopefully those after soludo will push on this initiative. It is not something that will bear fruit in 8 years.

In the President Advisory Council report, they intend to implement the Oronsaye Report. I'm all for it.

They should leave Customs and NIMASA alone tho, just move their revenue generating arm to FIRS while Customs and NIMASA continue their other mandates.

They should merge EFCC and ICPC

They should merge NPA and National Waterway Inland Commission

They should merge VIO and FRSC, VIO should be a department under FRSC

And so on.

It will bring efficiency into these MDAs and reduce redundancy.
