My Wife Is Now The Bread Winner by donsky1237: 8:28am On Jun 17, 2023 |
Today is making it 7months since I lost my job and I have not been able to land myself another job. The little my wife earns isn't enough to cater for us. I'm just so tired and confused. My daughter's expenses is also by the corner. I just hope I wake up from this dream of joblessness. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Let her go back to her parents home then go out and hustle. Send as much as you can to her while she is with family. If not, she will lose respect for you and possibly go to another man. 1 Like |

Get it He's not looking for job, but sympathy. He seems like the lazy type. There may be no corporate job at the moment, but he can always engage himself with work, even if it's bagging water in a pure water factory. But of course, someone is feeding him so he's relaxed. 8 Likes |

Life is in phases and you have just been ushered into one of them phases. Set pride or ego aside, you have to get busy, don't be idle, do small odd jobs, anything that adds a little naira to your pocket. Theres dignity in labour. Talk to a few people among your circle of friends, former colleagues, religious group about job openings that they can notify you of. Trust me something will come up. It is better than lazying around, lamenting and waiting for your wife to cook the next meal. Things will work out well |

Bros, don't wait until your wife and her family starts openly disrespecting you before you realize that women have little patience for unemployed men. If you can not bring yourself to do brick layer / site work then you have to think of some other legitimate way to make some money to contribute to the home before your wife and her family starts calling you lazy or worse. If I were in your shoes, I would even prefer to move out of the house far away so that my expenses are not being borne by my wife and I will only come back to the house when I have some money to contribute to the house expenses. 1 Like 2 Shares |
