Senior Pastor of House on the Rock, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, has applauded President Bola Tinubu, for the suspension of the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele.

Naija News reports that the clergy spoke at the church’s recent programme in a video making the rounds online.

Recall that Emefiele was suspended as the apex bank boss by President Tinubu last week Friday, and was subsequently arrested by operatives of the DSS in Lagos and flown to Abuja in a private jet on Saturday.

Speaking on this, Adefarasin declared that the arrest is the greatest news in recent times, stressing that Emefiele has misguided and misused the wealth of the nation.

According to him, the latest development is a sign that something new is about to happen in Nigeria and urged Christians to be sensitive about the new thing which is about to happen.

He was hellbent on Obi when he thought his principal, GEJ and wike would support Obi for President. When Baba Ota stamped his authority, and gave them an all or nothing offer, him and others chained by GEJ went south.

I really pity the ex CBN governor for allowing tribalism and selfishness to overwhelmed him. That last straw pushed at the wee hour of electioneering campaign would've resulted in a landslide failure for the incumbent party had it been Jagaban is not a very strong lion and astute politician. Any baby politician would have lost. I wish Obi and Atiku will come to his rescue because it seems they've all abandoned him to his fate.

Why was he silent about Emefiele's actions during Buhari, but very vocal now Buhari is out.

Shouldn't a conviction by the court be the yardstick for saying "something good is about to happen". What if Emefiele is declared not guilty by the courts, what would this pastor say?

There is nothing unique he has said, just a so called man of God talking based on emotions, basking on a fading Euphoria.

Some deluded elements still believe Tinubu will be remove by the court.
