Those praising themselves for being advanced politically in Nigeria cannot show you any "Nnewi" they manage to develop in their area, even with all the political positions they have held in Nigeria

It can only be disadvantage to them use north as a case study for decades in control of power, it makes them lazy and depends on handouts, is just like pampering you kids while handle badly, cruelly, or abuse your brother's or sister's kids thinking you frustrating them you are actually training them to be better than yours, they can survive in any condition.

You people should celebrate yourselves and stop dick-measuring because it's childish!

It is not right. I love the fact that you encourage our brothers to make use of what we have. I also love how you promote the South East on this forum. If I have my way, no South Easterners will be investing in any hostile region, under one Nigeria. I hope they get to their senses soon.

Show us the Pictures of the roads at St MARY in Nnewi, show us the pictures of the roads at Bank road at Nnewi, show us the pictures of the roads opposite Teaching Hosp at Nnewi, show us the pictures of the roads at Ojukwu road about opposite St Paul church.

For the on line readers, do not allow these boys to deceive you, I just left Nnewi to Awka this morning , the roads at Nnewi are terrible

Maybe you don't live in Nigeria. But what you are seeing here isn't strange. The quest to feel superior and undermine others has been something the majority of tribes in Nigeria has been engaged in.

It's more pronounced in Southern Nigeria because unlike the north, ethnic groups occupying the South would never allow themselves to be degraded and downplayed by any group... Hence the circle of bigotry and tribal supremacy clash.

The hard truth we are shying away from is that we shouldn't be one. Our existence as a nation should be negotiated. Unless one ethnic group bows to the other (which would never happen), there isn't any way to end the bigotry and hatred.

If you think I'm lying, visit other threads Like that of Ogun's Development thread and see how other regions are been degraded. It really isn't about promoting and projecting one's progress but more to do with degrading others who they feel they are superior to.

What you lack is the comprehension of the subject matter. Op is not talking about the roads in Nnewi but he is pointing out the fact that Igbos can come back home and build Cities from the scratch. We all know that Nnewi has terrible roads and that is failure of the past and present Government of Anambra to give Nnewi an infastructural face lift. My media organisation has been in the forefront of Nnewi to have a needed government presence. The construction of the roads are not in the jurisdiction of the private sector if not Nnewi roads will be the best in the Country.

Oga socialist infrastructure doesn't equate economic viability

Igbos rate economic viability over Infrastructural development

Abia has one of the worse infrastructure in igbo land but it's the lifeline to bayelsa, rivers, Akwa ibom, cross river 70% of goods in those state goes through Abia

Abia still service Cameroon to a very large extent

My bro, Infrastructural development is still Important in a Place. sad

A town with no Good roads, drainage, Etc will be an Headache for the Business owners there.😒

No BusinessMan will not like to invest in a Slum. 😕

Compare Abia that lack infrastructure with Akwa-Ibom with infrastructure in terms poverty rate. Almost everything you buy in Akwa-Ibom originate from Abia. Same with Rivers, cross River, Bayelsa and Cameroun Gabon, Equatorial Guinea etc
Slum is not about road, slum is about poor housing condition. There are no slum in the East except few places at the outskirts of Enugu City.
Secondly, East is powered by local investors. They care about making profits than enjoyment of infrastructure.
