To me I believe it's not about coming from south but balancing ethnicity or religion. The fumes around president and VP of same religion is still on fire so it's best they try to quench it through that means even though it's still boiling... |

This people are too selfish. They always like to play victim mentality. They have entitlement mentality. It was right for 8 years of Buhari to have 95 % of appointees from the North? It is right to have leaders of all three arms to be Muslim? Just stay in that hospital forever, Racoon: |

It is important to have diversity and representation in leadership positions across all arms of government. While it may be true that having leaders from one region can lead to some level of imbalance, the most important factor should be competence and merit. As long as individuals are qualified for their positions and capable of carrying out their duties effectively, their region of origin should not matter. It is crucial to focus on promoting inclusivity and fairness in our governance structures rather than allowing regional biases to influence decision-making processes. |

Just look at the cretin that is speaking... For the past years under buhari when basically ALL the federal parastatals were run by the north and virtually run to the ground by their obvious ignorance, incompetence and looting, where was he? Southerners are docile sha! Plus all their schooling and degree gathering, these lot of illiterates with their 2 or 3 credit pass in ssce or GCE were basically handed the nations economy to run for 8 years and nobody said pim and then we wonder why everything went wrong with Nigeria within that period! |

Though I'm not a BAT fan. But Yari should remember the last Admin President- North Senate - President North Chief Justice - North for almost 7 years |

Well that is incorrect because the Senate president is not the head of the legislature. By the constitution there is no upper and lower house, such allusions are born of ignorance. The deputy senate president and speaker are from NW so Yari can take himself and his dollars to hell. Nah this kind nonsense dem do till they lost Zamfara to PDP I'm 2019 in court |

it is unfair ko? am a northerner but am ashamed of our act, how do you react to the sight of all board members of most agencies and some parastatals being northerners, the past administration is the worst since I grew up. let them be plsssssssss as long as they can meet up with the plight of Nigerians |

Hypocrisy of the highest order😏 The north controlled the three arms of government during the last administration,Why didn’t Yari notice the imbalance then! Shameless hypocrite!!! |

LeyeWrites:Indeed you are very correct, Yari is only talking about his interest. But see how they keep bashing the north as if the northerners did not vote for Asiwaju. They seems to forget that 63% of Asiwaju's votes were from the north. If the north wanted to retain power they could have done so easily by voting Atiku. Do the Arithmetic and see. The President is trying to do what he believe is best for Nigeria they should not make him to be like a tribal President else it may cost him 2027 re-election. Majority of the northerners do not talk on social media but be rest assured that they are reading all the comments. |

YakubuA:Honestly. Most Nigerians are just devilish at heart. I suppose the majority pushing this false sense of northern sidelining are from SE. Too bitter a soul. The North helped Tinubu became President. Whatever their agreement was prior, quite confident he won't renege. |

YakubuA:So true. The North voted well for ASIWAJU (& SW) So this is more of Yari's self-interest if one should reason well. |
| Re: Yari: It’s Unfair To Have Leaders Of Three Arms Of Government From The South by GodSon1900: 7:02pm On Jun 21, 2023 |
PaellaPaella:If we can unite. Because we in the South are not truly united. The difference is just that we are less violent; there is respect for lives and properties, maybe due to religion etc... I believe we would have been more peaceful and talented if from the very beginning we were formed into tribal nations: Yoruba kingdom, Hausa Fulani nation, Igbo nation, Benin kingdom, Ijaw, Ogoni, etc... Any tribe can combine with who they feel more connected to It's hard to leave something when you've tasted it... |
