CNG ( Compressed Natural Gas ) is ₦120/kg is the ideal fuel for CNG powered vehicles and generating set. LNG or LPG ( liquidized petroleum Gas) is the common cooking gas ( lab gas ) is ₦600/kg Though people are using LNG for generating set but it's not ideal.... LikeAking: 8 Likes |

Thank you. Last time I heard it was 120/kg , it's cheaper than LNG but converting a Petrol run vehicle to CNG run one is expensive, north of ₦1million ..... windvane: |

Wow, it's cheaper now. It used to be north of 1 million.... I guessed as more people switched to gas, their service cost becomes cheaper. Viking07: 1 Like |

LikeAking: No everything should be free. Nonsense. Even the salvation that Christians enjoy was paid for by the Blood of Jesus Christ. Everything else must be worked out by the individual concerned. Put your brain to work and stop complaining. Here in Barbados, we are paying more than the equivalent of N1,200 per litre. Nobody has died and no one is complaining because wages are appreciably high and there is love of country by the govt and people. 4 Likes |

My elder brother converted his even before subsidy was removed and he has been feeling on top of the world. Conversion price was N342,000, tho I learnt it has gone up due to increasing demand for CNG. N2,000 worth of gas fills his cylinder and he uses it for his Uber/Bolt huzzle throughout the day. It has so many advantages compared to petrol the only disadvantages I learnt are: 1. The space the cylinder will occupy on your trunk. 2. Unavailability of gas stations in many states of the federation ( for inter-state travellers, as you would have to switch back to fuel to continue the journey) 3. High cost of installation at the moment. 4. Now I have the money to install, they have placed me on a long queue due to so many people who have paid before me for installation. My question is this. Why can't they partner with other fuel stations across the country to achieve the desired spread? Why can other investors rush in to cash out? Why don't they employ more engineers and train them for ease of installation? If I install from ladipo boys in Lagos, will they sell products for me at their fuel station cos it's monopolized by NIPCO only? 9 Likes 1 Share |

LikeAking:Cng is much cheaper than petrol. An equivalent of your petrol full tank will cost just around 3000naira on cng. Yes the conversion is expensive but the gas is cheap and the gas is not imported 2 Likes |

Judolisco:Not at all. Everything in your car remains intact, you can still run on petrol if you wish. The will only introduce a device plugged into your injector and install the cylinder in your trunk and link it. That's all 7 Likes 1 Share |

ozome15: The station is different. It's like where you fill cooking gas but this one is bigger. Then "CNG" will be written at the front of the entrance along with the company's logo. |

HenryWilliams: Yes. It's very common in Benin. If you are not in Benin then 4get it because nah only Benin get the filling stations. What happens is that ur car will be able to use fuel and CNG. U can choose which U want to use anytime. |
