Boro did not have any legitimate claim to be leading the Ijaw nation. He cant just wake up and declare anything without the support of folks…. Unlike Ojukwu, Ironsi, and even Gowon, that had relevant authority and legitimacy to do what they were doing.

Go and watch that interview again and see how Buhari responded to a question posed by a foreign journalist on how he intends to continue the amnesty program despite the SS not voting for him.
