Okay even with the zoo remark why still wait so late?

Didnt python swallow 36 million naira one time, or monkey stole money the other time... And in both instances, none of the animals was arrested...

Or when rat infestation in aso villa locked a whole presido outside and they had to budget humongous amounts for it.

____ And if all that's not enough____

Fulani herdsmen invading and killing indigenes with very few arrests in the past decade.

Army killing youth that are trying to protest

SARS and police trafficking and even killing youth and selling their organs in black market.

Or president disobeying court order... Deborah killed and no justice, Sharia law in one corner of d country, a '99 military decree disguised as a democratic constitution, a constitution where Islam is mentioned 27 times while no other religion is mentioned in a multi-religious country...

I could go on and on...

I mean, with all these, in combination with the indigenes having little to no right in their country, i thought it was quite easy to conclude Nigeria is one giant zoo...until you have conversations with the so-called mentally defeated nigerians that don't know they are slaves on their own land.

[b]Nigeria is more than a zoo. It's a zoo with no compartments.
Seriously zoo can be more organize, I think the country can be related to Wildlife sanctuaries (even though it is worse than that) where animals are on their habitat, because in zoo things are more coordinated. Is it about Citizens telling their fellow citizens to leave the same country, or to talk about Senator using his own mouth to confess he influenced his justice wife decisions abi issue of a known bandit that all the country arsenal were deployed to look for but couldn't when a "mere" journalist was able to track him in the bush and he confessed that the "government" paid him so much and use the same funds to buy more weapons and bullets for onward terrorism. I mean I can give "millions" of reason why the country should be donated to white rich men for purpose of flying their jets to engage in Mess or grazing ground to test their specimen.

Well... as for my late realization, I started following the news of the country just years ago as I was out and couldn't care what is happening but for the good number of years that I have been active with the happenings and living in the country, everyday points and confirm to one solution which is dissolution of the country for everyone peace of mind and sanity.

We can keep talking forever, it would not change anything.

Humanity has taken this path since history time and no time in life was suffering not a thing.

By default, with humanity ego on civilization, if you are born you should have access to all basic amenities, even eat if you don't work and roof over your head plus health even if you don't have money.

The rest of your life or what you want to do to be productive and have wealth is left to you.

But it is not that way, Africans and Blacks have no ticket to the future the white are envisioning

They can do what they want and all we do is cry up and down, they have been the masters of time.

We can change that but by first transferring wealth and helping each other be well doing in all ways like they, and maybe we could do it better if we do it constantly.

If you are living abroad and have some families here in Nigeria, pls don't hesitate to reach out to your brothers, sisters, uncles and aunties here in Nigeria.

The situation on ground is so bad that u see people groaning and talking to themselves, well kitted men and women turned cunny beggars just to meet up with daily activities.

Most families that I know have dump their cars especially here in Abuja. When u move around the city,u will see the situation on ground.

The subsidy removal has affected everything including the way of life of many people here in Nigeria. In my office today, many guys now come to office few times in a week just to cushion the effects of the subsidy removal.

Now that the electricity tariff is about to go up...I wonder how people would cope going forward.

And for those who feel everything is normal, just wait it will soon go round,no one would be spared.
They will survive...they always do

They survived Abacha, they will survive this

Upon heavy drinking, him go damage the kidney and liver, original begging go come start. Some people and stupidity shaa
JeffreyJunior:
You are even going too far.

A relative reached out to me the other day for help via WhatsApp saying his family was starving. I called him later on and he was at a bar drinking. I said haa, uncle you still see money to dey drink beer and he responded saying "I'm drinking to forget the too many problems in this country".

I was furious at that point. I respectfully told him, do you know if you had saved money you spent on two bottles of beer, that's dinner money right there.

The thing is that Nigerians hate to make adjustments. Small thing, they start begging for help when all they need is just little adjustment and everything will be fine.

What they don't realize is that their family members abroad work round the clock and deny themselves some good things of life just to make extra and send back home whereas they the recipients don't want to deny themselves anything.

They do owambe all the time and still expect you that don't have the liberty to do an owambe to sponsor their own owambe. No be juju be that?

People were dragging NOI on Twitter yesterday that she didn't snap with PBAT. I just they wonder how Nigerians reason, is that our major problem at the moment? We no drag govt to give us a better standard of living, subsidy without palliative and no cause for concern for the suffering of the masses. Who do us like this? When you're are trying to raise issues they bring tribalism into it. The suffer never tire us, if we suffer well well, we go reason.
Nazgul:
Lol... there's one RCCG church I know of in Surulere back then that use to share breakfast before every service. Recently, I ran into their keyboardist and after exchanging greetings, I asked him if they're still giving breakfast, he told me for where, that the church is even struggling financially.

It's not easy anywhere. Our problem is that tribalism and religion wouldn't let us come out openly to condemn our leaders. We'll keep pointing fingers at each other while they keep looting us dry. It's well.

B) as a keen world traveller, i would be the biggest hypocrite if i would discourage people to travel the world. DUH!! but again, as much as people should discover the world, they should do it the RIGHT WAY and not put their whole life at risk!!! going through the Libyan desert to end up in some yeye boat (in the Med sea) is NOT the way. being illegal in some god forsaken country with no food to eat, is NOT the way.

C) as someone who has seen his fair share of the west, i will always give my unbiased opinion about it, whether it is your eldorado or not.

today is sunday and many religious ignoramus will gladly waste their money in some yeye church, giving their hard earn money to some yeye charlatan in robe, who will go ahead and buy himself a Rolls Royce and a mansion while these foolish sheeples cry for a miracle in their lives. many people deserve the sorry life they get because they are living in LA LA LAND (hoping for miracles in the sky instead of accepting the life they got and doing something worthy to change their situation)!

Unless Japan and maybe South Korea, if a black African woman is interested in superior citizenships, the rest of Asia should not pursued as places to eke a good living, or get a suitor or house. Singapore is also fine for good and stable jobs but should never hope to be a permanent resident, let alone a citizen. A man can go to Malaysia, kpata kpata he hustles or marry a local most likely a Chinese Malay. Use am collect citizenship or at least permanent residency.

He should start a business in Namibia since he has the money. Since he is a naturalised Austrian, his knowledge of Dutch or German will come in handy in some places. Ghana is still OK, but the elites have to nip in the bud regarding the silent growing cases of Fulani attacks in the country's northern parts. My fear for Namibia is that South Africa might descend into chaos in the long term. Between her and Nigeria, I don't know which might descend first. But wahlai, if Nigeria becomes like Sudan, West, Central and even Northern Africa would be terribly affected.

If nigeria had removed the subsidy, you’re assuming the money would have been used for good

Oil has been sold for $100, Abacha loot recovered, loans taken

Have you seen the impact of all of that money?

nairalanda1:
Dang...a lot of people are suffering.

But the harsh truth is, at the end of the day, if the subsidy had not gone, if the government had kept subsides on petrol and power, well...

We would have been 'enjoying' and things would have been okay...until at the end of the day, in three years time, when the cost of subsidy is higher than our revenue, and we are borrowing money to make up the balance of subsidy payments, and borrowing for everything else...till IMF comes in and tells us that we can't pay for your addiction no more.

Then things would get really hard.

The way I see it, and I am not an APC fan, it is simple...we start taking hard decsions now, or we are forced to take harder decisions three years later, when IMF stops giving us loans.

One thing Nigerians need to wake up to is that the problem is not from who is in charge...although APC is a mess, it is the policy that those in charge , especially APC practice. We too dey rely on oil revenue...which cannot feed half our nation, talkless of one tenth. Meanwhile, looters and corrupt people come in and steal that tiny money

It is either we become more fiscally responsible, or we take more and more loans until we join Sri lanka and even Argentina at the bottom of the lake. And if you think you are suffering now...

God knows that if we removed subsidy in 2012, we won't be here by now.

Oil sold for $140 during the Libyan war. Diezani and all the corrupt people in Jonathan's govt took all the money. All the Abacha loot was shared to state governments. No impact. Ecological fund shared to states, only 6 states have given some kind of account on what they used the money for. Paris Club refund was shared to states, and we were hearing all kinds of stories of how one governor's mistress took that money and disappeared.

Loans taken, left right and centre, including the latest $800m which they say is to share to poor households. Who are these people the so-called social register, if not thousands of fictitious names? Did former VP ever take up the challenge to defend the list with proof of life or existence of the people in it? Or is it in one state where we heard that non-existent schools were part of the school feeding program?

Naija na real cesspool and no government can change anything.
