That is minus the ones bought for his smallies, wives or children. Even some of us pushing for revolution and change don't practice what we preach as we still game the system one way or the other. High levels of corruption are so ingrained in us that it would need someone or something highly special to change it. Every where has it's own tales of it as no one is perfect but most of them still come together from time to time to plan how to make their nations better especially infrastructure and economy wise but our own must involve kickbacks and egunje before we finally try to arrive at it. A journey of 40 days becomes one of 40 years.

I will never understand the heartlessness of these governors . How can u owe people salary for 7 straight months? How ?

How do u expect the person being owed 7 months salary arrears to survive ? Even if Benue is the food basket of the nation and almost everyone is a farmer that most likely grows what they eat, what happens to their other needs that can’t be met with subsistence farming ?

The funny thing is Ortom and his appointees , members of state house of assembly and even state judiciary are most likely not being owed any salary …… But it’s the common man like civil servants that make sacrifices and need to understand things are hard .That was how Aregbe was paying workers fragmented salaries while his guys were getting contracts to build infrastructures (which he’s most likely to get kickbacks from )

Omo! Civil servants dey try o. If person owe me even one month salary while he cruises around with prado and Range Rover , plenty matters go sup o.
