The good ones pay fees that from the Nigerian perspective are high

Those that are free pay for the privilege in very high tax rates

There is a reason why the man was approving universities.....the fact is, there aren't enough spaces for Nigerian students in our universites

That's why many of our students go to places like Ukraine and Sudan, and were caught up in the wars that broke out there. No space at home, even when they are the sons of the soil, or fall within catchment areas.

I wish I could agree with you, but my eyes were opened years ago after a jamb official stated the number of people passing JAMB was higher than the number of spaces in universities

It is only just now that we have some unused slots. As at 2018 we needed 1 million spaces. Establishment of private universities has helped. A lot. Over the years

Even then there are issues in some courses . Recently 460000 students were fighting for 79000 spaces in medicine.
