It doesn’t take a genius to know a player that scored 30goals in 20 or 25matches won more points for his team than a player that banged 30 goals in 7games.

And by winning more points, his team stand a chance of winning titles.

There is/was a reason Klopp prefers Salah to firmino in attack. Salah is consistent with goal scoring but we can’t say the same for Firmino.

There was also a reason Aubameyang was used ahead of Lacazette.

Your analysis is just based on how better it is for a forward to be consistent with his /her goal scoring in the league. His /her goals need to be spread out, which is understood. CR7 scoring 14 in 19 is impressive and that’s what Udeh was saying.

And if you follow my comment, I didn’t condemn Ronaldo’s 14goals in 19games. I was just trying to tell him how 14goals in more games would have won them more points that will greatly impact their title bid considering the fact that they lost with a slim margin.
