Then use ur Nigeria ID to register it will still work....

I used another country ID for my send app and is working I can change to any country I have access to the bank or Card and it always work....

This is not new to me. I did change dollar to naira on GTBank Internet banking in January 2015. I think CBN policy made them stopped doing it all these years

Lol yeye bank. It took them 2 to 5 years and 50 email messages to honour my request to close my account. This same feature has been on my bank for years.

I even introduce this to them to implement but them no hear.

I was having less than $3 on my dormiciliary account and their branches will always advice I leave the account like that to close naturally because according to them 1.8 and 1.9 dollars cannot be withdrawn. Who does that?

I told them to convert it at CBN rate of 410/$ and close the account. All fell on deaf ears.

Just last month, I decided to go violent on my email to their head office and threatening to deal with them for playing with my life and emotions. Sharp sharp account officer call me they preach. Oga close the damn account. I hate your bank, your customer service and altitude to customers

Banks will be feeling like Kings on top people's money.

Keep hyping this bank that is now leaving on past glory while their banking hall is littered with customers all complaining about little things that can be solved in less than 24 hours without visiting the bank.

Most banks in Nigeria keeps wasting away Nigerians productive hours in their hall.

Oh well Nigeria is not a productive country but a busy country lest no customer in the city would have the productive hours to keep wasting in bank for days and yet no solutions in sight.

Once a bank is aware that someone is deceased, the account is placed on total restriction, no money can leave that account till it is closed and everything in it is moved to an estate account which will be run by the people stated on the letter of administration.

Never stopped, just that people weren't using it cause the rate was abysmal when compared to aboki rate. Now that rate is floating, rate's good again.

Before GT started instant ATM card processing, other banks where issuing ATM the same day while we waited for 2 weeks to get GT ATM
