This one deep, seems the applicant wasn't really interested in PR. I think this is indeed a fair process. It literally will not cost anything to include the job in personal history. Someone did not do their research well.

💯......information is power....and the truth sets people free.....one of the reasons we should read judicial reviews....we have shared here on NL how everything should be laid bare...someone was rejected years ago for a directorship he did not declare and when they sent PFL he was still arguing that he had not been paid for the role. VO would have been wondering what personal history has to do with renumeration. Same way this person was talking about not claiming CRS points. I mean.......

Even if you think your LinkedIn and Facebook are in line with what you'd like to potray, you'll be surprised how IRCC may access the info you are planning to hide! Be it employment, family or travel history. For example how dem take know say these 2 guys both worked for GT:

https://decisions.fct-cf.gc.ca/fc-cf/decisions/en/item/218632/index.do?q=+guaranty+trust+bank

The guy who denied his directorship:

......on the other hand some VOs are just rookies...imagine this VO saying they did not believe the girl's WE because her education was not in line with the NOC employment/education requirements.......apparently she responded in detail to the PFL and eventually got PPR. If na me...I would just have pasted the IRCC page where they said we don't need to meet the education requirements, for the guy as my response! https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/537#101136249

...NEVERTHELESS, people who are convinced of their position and are denied should borrow money to take IRCC to court for judicial review like this POF person from AOR May 24 (if indeed their POF was complete at AOR). I would have expected that the VO should have at least given the opportunity for updated POF. I think they call it procedural fairness: see this case from 2014 https://decisions.fct-cf.gc.ca/fc-cf/decisions/en/item/72511/index.do?q=proof+funds

AND...you'll never be convinced of your position if you didn't take time to read/study the process/requirements.

Hi. Please can anyone who has submitted and gotten PPR email since the latest POF update by IRCC confirm if POF is locked at submission? Someone with AOR May 24th was just refused due to insufficient POF (most likely a result of the flunctuation of the Naira). Could that be a reason, even if the POF was sufficient as at the point of submission?
Really worried about this oh. My AOR is the same date and POF Is short by about 600CAD using the new rate.

Hi guys.

Please I received an additional document request to provide “biometrics collection fee” for my spouse. Unsure what is required. She’s previously done a biometrics submission for a denied postgraduate student visa back in 2018 and this is reflected.

Her UCI, biometrics number and date and validity all reflected in the dependents tab of my application.

I’m not very sure what the above means since it’s not biometrics collection

You may want to just go ahead and make another biometrics payment even though her biometrics are still valid...... like this person did. Upload evidence of payment and transmit.

Edit: from June 14, all PR applications need to do new biometrics apparently, regardless of if you'd done one before.

If you have more money based on today's rate then maybe send updated POF. If not maybe wait for an ADR or send a webform asking if they need updated POF. Don't really know what the best approach is, sorry. I was 100% sure the applicant would have been given the opportunity to provide updated POF.

IRCC should really consider using a monthly average.

Just like you mentioned earlier, some VOs are rookies. So it might have depended on the thoughts and interpretations of the VO else all of us should have received similar mails by now

Thank you. I think I’ll send the web Form to stall in order to get the funds together.

She’s lucky a 5 year ban wasn’t mentioned in the letter. Well, she better pray o because this was the same reason a guy who didn’t disclose his directorship was banned for 5 years. I’ve also noticed that there might be a ban in place for her already even if they don’t mention it in the letter. She might get a rude shock when she applies again.

BC computer based
Resources: ieltsliz (website and YouTube), e2langauge -ielts jay (YouTube),
Ieltsonlinetests (website),
Chatgpt (for writing, it improved my vocabulary and grammar. God bless the person that recommended it here),
BC’s premium sites for preparation,
Lastly, ielts speaking for success ( a podcast on Spotify, it was immensely helpful)
Thank you all for the tips and resources. This is my payback, sort of.

Is it advisable to pay the $1450 application fee for spouse addition and attach evidence when sending the webform to update the profile.
For context, principal applicant received RFV 3 days before wedding and a webform was raised to notify IRCC, this has been acknowledged on the tracker but placeholders are yet to be created.
The additional forms have been filled for submission via webform ahead of placeholder creation.

Quite surprising how it didn't reduce from 486 . Never seen them repeat a score twice back to back . There might be another draw next week.

Hello everyone, please what is the fastest way now to get police clearance certificate? I cannot seem to register on their website, I don't get the otp needed to complete the registration. Can I go in person to request for it?

I think going in person is now hard, go to NIN office to update your email on record, with that you will get the OTP

Just happened.

CRS cutoff used - 476
Candidates invited - 500
Category: Express Entry Healthcare Draw

I hope this helps to reduce the cutoff in the general pool in the long run.

STEM draws (Bill C-19) are starting July 5 as seen on IRCC’s https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2023/06/canada-announces-first-ever-express-entry-invitations-for-skilled-newcomers-with-stem-experience.html website

I won’t watch. Write the timeline and landing gist here for us. After collecting tips from Nairaland, you refuse to help us back in return. And now you still want more help by asking us to give views to your YouTube. Let’s stop always collecting and give back freely when we can Abeg. This is like the 5th time you are dropping video.
The bigger problem I have with their supposed testimony sef is how there's basically nothing on their YouTube page that showed they were working on this or showing any steps, until BAM! a video showing relocation. I don't know about others, but I have a serious problem (and will never take seriously) anyone that thinks it's wise to shroud all of their steps in secrecy until they just one day show up in Canada and now think they are in a position to offer advice. Unsatisfactory!

That means persons with healthcare and STEM Nocs aren't much in the pool....Same with persons with dual languages
