That's their lifestyle.
Their Imam has told them it's their destiny to be poor so they are used to hunger and suffering. While their elites steal all the money.

And they can't complain because its unislamic to criticise your leaders.

The same people that have claimed political superiority over the rest of the country cannot be claiming hunger at the same time, "e ga bulu ogbenye bulu amosú?" You can’t be boasting with witchcraft and still be a beggar at the same time!

So no, there is no poverty in the North!

You can’t be inflicting the rest of the nation consistently with bad leaders and at the same time expect pity from your victims!

UN should just mind their business in that North because any kpere against their prophet there will see UN staffs burnt by the same people forming weakness from hunger!

With this news now, people will think there are no poor people in the South. The Northerners are just using these tactics to corner aid and donations to their region. Don't be deceived. It's only in the North that you will see various NGOs operating and employing hundreds of Northerners. Till a Hausa man buys the whole street, they will still be begging for alms while we Southerners think they are poor. You will see a Hausa Fulani man having more than 10 cows worth over 10m naira and we will still be looking at him that he's poor.
Northerners are not as poor as we Southerners think. There is poverty everywhere in Nigeria.
that's not true! They are the poorest because of their population, illiteracy, high level of almajiris! Most herders you see all over the places have their masters in the north there! They are poor go there yourself and see!!

Since 1960 hunger have been affecting the northerners. And they are still the one bringing food to the south.
It's not everywhere in the south you'd find northern food. Go to Ondo, Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, and Ogun States..they grow their own food. Also, go to Edo, Delta up to the south east. They grow their own food too. There's a town in Osun called Ikoyi. If you drive down like 2 km you'd find tomatoes grown on 100s of acres of land. It's the same specie grown in the north. There's a place called site 1 and site 2 in same area in osun, which share boundaries with Ijebu ode. That's the largest tomatoes farm in Nigeria which people won't let you know about. No irrigation, nothing.

I'd only agree if you say we eat meat produced by northerners but still, most of those cows you see them bring to us are imported from Niger.

Again, I can agree if you say since 1960, lagos had been eating the northern food. Cos its only here you can find such. There's no land to cultivate and people are mostly salary earners.

The North has ruled the country more than any other parts of the country yet they are and will continue to be the poverty headquarters of the world!

Rather than strive for a working system, they allow their leaders, in the name of religion believe they're born to rule, even though they are the worste when it comes to economic management.

Northern Nigeria is one of biggest to the economic development of this country.

Insecurity, they're there with their religion of piss

We, Nigerians, should be the ones responsible for recording the hunger rate that is affecting Nigeria, not outsiders. It is not the UN; we are the ones who can provide an accurate record of everything happening in Nigeria because we are the ones truly experiencing the hardships. Unfortunately, social media often portrays a misleading image of prosperity, which is extremely detrimental to Nigeria's reputation.

Just 4.3 million? That is a very big lie because the number is light years greater than that...It should be at least 50-60% of the entire northeastern population in my opinion...If not upto 70% sef if we're telling ourselves the truth in this country
you also lied. The hunger is everywhere in the country. 6 out of 10 Nigerians are hungry or about to go hungry. And as its stand more Nigerians may go hungry
