Eleme is very far from OGU/ Bolo, they don't share the same local government, they are not even the same people. Elemes are Ogonis, OGU/Bolo people are Okrikans (ijaws) so why are you linking them together?🀦🀷🚢🚢

Why appeal to Shell?.... it is the duty of the Environmental Protection Agency to take action against Shell ... advise those in the affected area on what to do/have them evacuated... and have them compensated. Instead... the EPA is nowhere to be found. And many of us are still shouting for industrialization.... industrialization without environmental protection.

Hate them or love them, they are who they are. Face your own tribe and stop complaining about others. Every Nigerian state has it's problems otherwise, Nigeria would have been great by now. Nobody is loosing any habitat and last time I checked, non indigenes and indigenes are living together in the oil spilled area. Face your perfect region. Take your anger elsewhere

What you are doing is a case of guilt feeling. So you are trying to rationalise your decision so as not to admit wrongdoing. Whether you like it or not this stares you in the face

Ijaws can never be with Igbos. The sooner you realize, the better for you. Congo DR for instance, has so much natural resources, yet fight unnecessary civil wars. If your tribe is so perfect, why not mind your business. Adaka boro ,Asari, tompolo and other freedom fighters were told to fight by you back then? Leave Rivers State alone and face your region.
.
Oga stop being childish. Did rhe poster say that they want ijaws to be with igbos? He is saying that you people took igbos as your enemy and allowed the real enemy to destroy your land and damage the habitat. The truth is this if you are sincere ask your parents are you better off now compared to life in the old eastern region? Your problem is that you are trying too hard to rationalise and justify your past misdeeds against the igbos. Oga please do not derail the tread it is about the consequences of pollution in your area. Again concerning Adaka Boro he claimed he was marginalised but he was under scholarship in the old eastern region which was Igbo dominated and no one denied him scholarship because of his tribe. He was SUG president in an Igbo dominated UNN and he was never discriminated against oooo. The greatest folly that I have seen in your people is that you never read history to see that it was Balewa that Boro was working for because after destabilising the Western Region the next target was eastern region by using the minorities, after Balewa was killed Boro had no option but to take up arms and that was what happened.

If they can go with the 5 states, everybody will be happy but they keep insisting that some south south states must join. Oil spillage can occur anywhere. Develop your region and let others equally come and live with you. Must you claiming to develop other people regions yet your region is not hospitable? This is not right. Lagos is amending laws not to enable Ibos occupy government seats again. Of the all geopolitical zones in Nigeria my brother, do you know that Ibos are less hospitable or more hostile than others? I am obident but truth must be told. Monday sit at home, you won't complain much but once it's South south or other regions, we rush to condemn.

Obigbo and areas around Ohaji Egbema which is south south land are indigenous igbos so carving out south south land is also allowed. Stop being childish abeg. Your inferiority complex is too obvious.

The people of Niger delta are really trying .

Their land, water and air is polluted, yet nothing to show for it.

These guys keep on giving to Nigeria, yet some microscopic few are the one stealing and controlling the oil sector. Every now and then you hear politicians saying we will start the cleaning up of Niger delta, but all na wash.

The spirit of Ken Saro Wiwa will be turning in his grave. 28years after his death nothing has been done.

One will think it's issues like this that Asari Dokubo should be addressing, but his eyes is on the bag"contract".

Our leaders have no conscience.
the militants and local criminals are the cause let's start blaming the grassroots not federal government or oil companies

As someone rightly pointed out, the discovery of oil became a curse and a blessings to large stretch of this country.

Nobody is actually holding them from leaving. They insist they must go with their relatives from Delta and Rivers. Even some of their governors from the same east are sabotaging their efforts not necessarily being held back. The day SE governors, lawmakers and people decides to leave, then everyone will take them serious. Imagine Orji Uzor Kalu advocating that power should go back to North so that Ahmed Lawan could win. Instability is affecting us. Let's choose either Biafra or one Nigeria. Something like that

While the North is enjoying crude oil money tne Niger delta is suffering,

Non of the locals have oil wells while an average Northerner have two to three oil wells this is what divide and rule can curse,l.

Sometimes I am tempted think that the oil in Nigeria is cursed.

Because how on earth do you explain that it's the same oil that transformed these Arab countries that's the same oil that's improverisish Nigeria.
Someone should please explain to me

Inferiority complex? I laugh. Virtually every other state or region have inferiority complex for having a bit of hatred for u. Truth is sounding Childish to u. Dot in a circle comment is sounding Childish to u. Marginalization by federal government is sounding Childish to you. Face it man, you hate truth and attack the voice of reasoning. Go back and massively develop your region and let others equally come and live with you and even criticize you. Life is all about choice, Ohaji Egbema axis said they want to be where they are for now pending the creation of ORASHI state or region that cuts across Rivers and Imo state down to Anambra. It's you that is having inferiority complex by insisting others join u in your map. Be properly guided

They will burst a pipeline to syphon 'kpo fire' and start shouting oil spill and Shell Ugandan.

If only they know that Shell spends billing to ensure that no drop is lost and no leakage occurs ,- operations may not go perfect, I know.

But rivers state crude theft is normal and every single drop of kerosene and diesel you use in PHC is likely from stolen crude produced by operations that mess up the environment.

But some people will still pretend not to know the cause of 99% of the oil spills. That it our own 'boys' that are doing it.

You and all the dim witted igbos on this thread are sick in the head, is your Igbo land perfect? Are there no poor people in your region? Did the Niger delta people ask you for solidarity and support? Is your region hospitable like the SS that you claim to be suffering? How many indigenous SS people are living in your Igbo land? You guys should mind your business and focus on your 5 states, stop trying to lumo the SS with SE in your biafran agitation, it will never work, our people are wiser. We'll rather create our own Niger delta country

Ken Saro Wiwa thought Igbo people were his problem. The Northerners empowered him with political posts for abandoned Igbo properties that he implemented. When he needed life the most, his former flatmate and good friend killed his ass. The rest his history.

Karma is real. The day it will be Asari's turn,he will turn and their is nothing to grasp at.

/

Fix up your lives please, we don't need solidarity from south easterners, your states are not any better, even with the oil spillage, how many south southerners move to the east for economic opportunities compared to the number of igbos in SS. We don't want to be part of any Biafra, go with your 5 states and we don't need pity or solidarity from your equally shit hole states, well rather create a Niger delta country. Our people know better
