One thing about being big is that you're subjected to criticism. People are closely watching you cause you're very relevant. The reason why IPOBs are obsessed with us is that we're the most relevant region in Nigeria. If you look closely Yorùbás don't care that much about Igbos region like they care about ours. Dude if the OP have said Yorubas are the most successful skull mining tribe in Nigeria, I can assure you nobody would have bothered to comment on this thread, Yorubas is not the most successful tribe in Nigeria not even close.

Bro, don't sweat it. We should not be concerned about the IPOB lot. Yourbas need to use control of the centre to transform Nigeria and the SW.

Nigeria cannot be well unless the North is well. We should focus on weighty issues like encouraging Tinubu to prioritize the growth and wellbeing of the North.

The North has so much to offer Nigeria because it is the region that can transform.our fortune if she is well and thriving.

Time for Yorubas to stop allowing themselves to be distracted by the pettiness and insecurity of Igbos.

In Nigeria right from Independence the south has been a much more reasonable region than the North. In the south the major tribes are Yoruba and Igbo. But since the Biafra war till date while the Yorùbás barely have any opinions on the Igbos and have always been hospitable. The Igbos in return would assume the victim mentality including their online warriors and rain insults at the Yorùbás such as;
* Afonjas
* Brown roof
* Skull miners
* Calling Lagos a no man's land
* Yorùbá Muslims
* Referring to Yorùbás as touts etc
These guys claim that they left their own region to develop someone else's and also while clamoring for Biafra they also want authority over Lagos or something. Like if you want Biafra why are you people obsessed with the Lagos and the South west in general. Is Lagos part of Biafra's map?
Yorùbás have been at the fore front of the progress we have in this country fields ranging from music, movie industry, tech, etc. We're hospitable and not discriminatory against people regardless of their tribe or religion and show this in the harmony Yorùbá Christian and Muslims co-exist in like yesterday was Ileya and I a Christian ate Ileya food too. Peter Obi won in Lagos cause even Yorùbá youths voted for him not minding his ethnicity even though Tinubu eventually won the point being Yorùbás don't have the despisement Igbos harbor against them. If someone (The Yorùbás) are neutral and hospitable towards you and you( Igbos) straight up balantly hate them for no reason it just means they're better than you and you're jealous.
I saw a video footage from 1970 at the end of the Biafra war when a brittish reporter was asking Yorùbás in Lagos what they think of the Igbos and they said they see Igbos as their countrymen , they enjoy their company and don't want them to leave without leaving too much opinions but the Igbos if asked would state that they hate the Yorùbás with passion calling us traitors and it's ridiculous. All these point from an inferiority complex the Igbos have towards us cause they know we're better.

Most Yoruba's I've mingled with are very sensible and learned people.

I don't know what breed of Yoruba's inhabits this forum. Is it joblessness or low-self esteem.

Things are very hard in the country, foodstuff is at an all time high that local man finds it hard to eat twice daily, and your own priority is to be be creating thread on Tribal Superiority.

Go check inec voters registration last year, remove lagos and compare the ogun,oyo,ondo osun and ekiti with se states...I even learnt Ibadan isn't homogeneous

Yorubas we have failed our ancestors. We have failed the Herbert Macaulays, the Kitoyi Ajasa, Alexander Sapara Williams, Adetokunbo Ademola, Timothy Ogunlesi and so many great persons. Why is that we now compare ourselves to Igbos... instead of us to be playing big in the global scale competing with Germans, Spanairds, French. I congratulate the Igbo; they have come of age that they are now being compared with the Yoruba. These are people who used to be used not just as slaves but as slave human sacrifice by the Calabar kingdom barely 150 years ago.
