The Bear 2022 S2


Cook... pressure..fail...sad... depressed.... redemption.. rebuild...Happy..Cook again!


There is a trope with shows with exceptionally good first season debut not being able to replicate the magic in their sophomore season, S1 of this was one of my best shows last year, and i had reservations they could serve up this same sumptuous magic this season, mixing two synonyms to carry the weight of my feelings, i was totally and utterly blown away, how good this was!
This is the best show i have seen this year, heck in a long long while.

The writing,character development and delivery was of the finest quality like "GOT 1 - 5" good!.

S1 was Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri's show, but S2 was so much more than them, each minor character having a satisfying redemption arc infused in 10 intense and pressure cooking episodes that were grounded in food ingredients and cuisines from not just Chicago where the show is set but to as far as Copenhagen whilst keeping the tone of drama and comedy on a steady par. Episode 6 is the best of the bunch and had the longest runtime, it was intense and the camera was panning so much, i had to pause and take breaks while i was seeing it. It's the highest rated Episode of the show yet at 9.8 on IMDB and it's so so deserving. There is also a "British cameo" from Academy winner Olivia Colman and Will Poulter, that was so profound, you'd think they have been part and parcel of the show from Day 1.

Simply put, this was a great body work of art, a genuine masterpiece. Together with "Beef" are the best shows i have seen this year so far, and The 100% perfect score on RT is not flattering at all.

Time to move this one up the watchlist.

Jack Ryan season 4 just dropped and I never even watch season 3. On the same week with The Witcher and Warrior. These people wan choke me with premium content.

I don dey wait make this season debut before I continue S3. I just downloaded the first episode of S3 without watching. As I see say final season dey come out soon, I chill.

The PR for S1 wasn't great and i was surprised. Disney will rather promote shows on the more premium Disney plus. The show is so so good, and both seasons are a light binge with 30 mins episodes.

Started The Witcher season 3

I honestly cannot remember a single thing about the events of the past 2 seasons
Even characters, I can't remember many names

Am I the only one facing this?

One of the reasons I'm not too much big on fantasy shows.
After some absence, their names and plots can becoming confusing

I know it won't stop them from being tracked, but it stands out too much and makes them easier to be found

Disappointing.
He's the only one keeping this show alive. He's the only one enjoyable to watch

Some of the cuts don't even make any sense. A character is in one place with some people in one scene...a minute later they are miles away...

Every character seems to keep disappearing randomly and finding themselves randomly. Maybe cell phones and GPS exist in this world now...
Oh maybe teleporting machines exist too

The entire season so far feels like a patchwork of ideas...like multiple writers writing different scenes with no knowledge of what the previous writer did

The only reason I'm still watching this show is because of Henry Cavill. Once he's out, I'm out too

The gas released on the people sent out to clean just before they exit the silo is poisonous... The heat tape prevented the gas from infiltrating Juliette suit hence her survival.

YouTube has been making money for itself and creators for years without the platform been broken or unrecognizable. Musk takeover is barely a year, and he has fired actual project designers and UI/UX guys that actually know how to make the app work, and he's tinkered with just about everything. Today's move will be the straw that breaks the camel's back if he doesn't revert it. There are ways he can make money off the app and not these nonsense he his doing currently.
