Goats are very light sleepers that wake up at any sound, which explains why people rarely see them sleeping.

Sleep is not the most important item on the goat's to-do list. In fact, some people say that wild goats do not actually sleep! This, of course, is not true; goats, however, will find a sheltered spot where they cannot be easily seen to sleep.

If it's not joblessness, I don't know why anyone would want waste his/her precious time trying to put goat to sleep.

Goats are not nocturnal carnivorous animals that are active/hunters at night, which is why they don't sleep during the day. They literarily make hay while the sun shines!

So, when you put the goat to sleep during the day, what do you expect it to do at night?
