He was in prison because his old uniform was found on Otunba so it was investigated and found out he wanted to cover up his mess by shooting Otunba, so he has to be jailed.

In fact Peter Black used both him and Otunba

Kaycee chike is the guy that met his friend for help but that one introduced him to robbery and in the process he shot a young man dead and married the man's wife.
