No tribe started anything first. It's the same toxic politics of tribalism that exists offline that seeped into the internet and because everyone is faceless here people speak without repercussion. Even people who have no direction in their life offline make it a full-time job to sling tribal mud.

Please am having serious issues with my oppo a3s phone.
Bought it last year from jumia, at first they advertised it as brand new device but months after purchase I went to my jumia inbox n saw refurbished stamped on the product.

My issue is there r numbers that will just dial itself and these r random numbers from different countries, once it dial even if I have 2000 naira airtime, it will vanish from my account...

Previously I thought it was incoming numbers but when I checked na dial numbers.
Most times u won't even see the numbers on the dial number column... It will just disappear after the deed has been done..

Also my WhatsApp account has been banned, had to open another one using my 2nd number, in less than 1week it got banned too.
Used my mum's number to open another account, the same thing happened.

Now I can't use WhatsApp cos all my accounts have been banned.

Don't know what and how to stop this...
Have done factory reset, the problem.still persist...

I think they used to remove the app, but if ur phone bring back "update" your phone, and u update it, the app will come back and it will block every important area u want to be using. I think op is asking in case the seller already removed the app, and if the seller removed it, u can't know.

That easy buy nah small thing for emeka ofor plaza in onitsha. 2mins they go wipe aam comot. That red indication will not appear again and you will have access to your phone again

They don’t need to get your details, the apps on your phone will gradually stop working, na you go use your hand call them and continue paying from where the original buyer stopped paying.

I think it has to do with the IMEI of the phone, if you dial *#06# it will show you.

Few days ago, easy buy called me and addressed me with a wrong name, asking me to pay up my loan and I was trying to tell the call agent that I am not the one with the name.

Shockingly, on the phone calendar, there's a reminder tagged 'easybuy repayment' .
The whole thing is confusing to me because I have nothing to do with easy buy, didn't give them my number.

Sorry, you've been swindled into buying a phone bought on loan and you'll have to pay for the phone or the phone will be rendered useless once the repayment period has elapsed

Really?? So IMEI no can be used to get a number on the phone. If so, why are stolen phones not being recovered easily?
There's no easybuy app or tell tale sign that the phone is on loan.
If the phone is truly on loan, I will return to the seller. I know his shop else the police will step in.

Lol. I left phone hacking and stuffs for a while now, but as long as the bootloader can be accessed, I can easily hack easy buy phones. Even if na to change the IMEI number sef. But no time anymore nowadays. 😁
