I'm surprised PBAT never submit list for ministers to the NASS. |

UPDATE FROM THE TRIBUNAL Part of the documents tendered today by President Tinubu through his Counsel seeks to prove that Peter Obi has a case of double nomination. Mr Obi purportedly resigned his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party on 26th May 2022 to join LP on 27th May 2022. The Labour Party conducted its Presidential Primary election on 30th May, 2022 which produced Mr Obi as the candidate it intended to sponsor in the general election. It says by virtue of section 77(3) of the Electoral Act, Labour is mandated to have submitted its comprehensive register of members to INEC, 30 days before its presidential primary, implying that the register of members must have been submitted to INEC on or before 30th April, 2022. Mr Obi as at 30th April, 2022 was still a member of the PDP and his name was not in the register of members submitted by Labour Party to INEC. According to his Counsel, Peter Obi was still a member of PDP when he contested the presidential Election under the Labour Party. Cc Airmark. Tinubu is teaching these folks Politics 101. Yesterday was a banger, today is lit too. |

OasisX:Hmm you're not a good person with the state of emergency comment, PBAT should first arrest the sponsor of the barbaric acts aka bastard Ekpa and those acts will stop immediately. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OasisX: 12:24pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
Incognito9:......guess you know it won't be easy to arrest him right? Wike tamed the nonsense in PH coz he locked-down Oyigbo and dealt with them in Language they understand. State of Emergency is all needed now, take it or leave it. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by nihilistjnr: 12:40pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
larride:Sorry about that bro. Will check soon |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by larride(m): 1:48pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
OasisX:The NASS has to approve the state of emergency. I dont think PBAT should do that. There should be a special operations in the SE just like we have in the NW and NE to fish out those bastards, then aggressively go after their sponsors. Simon Ekpa should've been arrested and extradited to Nigeria since. |

Nnpc posted this image below but meanwhile Reported Petrol Subsidy payments per year since Jan 2016: 2016 — N240billion. 2017— N154billion. 2018– N1.1trillion. 2019– N508billion. 2020– N864billion. 2021– N1.43trillion. 2022- N4.39trillion. 2023 H1: N3.36trillion. Who were these monies now paid to?NNPC claim they re been owed by the fed gov. 2.8 trillion, so where did the fed gov allocate the budget of subsidy to during this period... When we ask questions,ZOMBIES will call us mobs and emergency lovers of Nigeria APC/Buhari really killed this country sha...lmao Buhari is not corrupt, only Emefiele policies ruined the country.

larride:I think BAT should meet with the governors, elders and Senators in the region ask them how they want to address the situation and if there is anyway FG can support them The elders of the region should lead in this because if FG takes any step now, before long you will start hearing different tales. Till now there are many who believe there are no UGM its Buhari DSS guys killing and harassing people. If FG starts anything that is how you will start seeing tags to US embassy, UN, Ecowas everyone about genocide and how everything was peaceful until FG sent intervention |

raumdeuter:Is the SE another country that the FG needs to seek counsel, and provide support? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:27pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
izzou:Its a federation, The governors are the closest to the people and they know how best to tackle the problem in their locality. If a governor cannot handle it then he can ask FG for support the same way it happened when SanwoOlu, Makinde etc couldnt handle endsars and reached out to FG for support |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:31pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
raumdeuter:No sir. Reread Larride's comment again. He suggested this There should be a special operations in the SE just like we have in the NW and NE to fish out those bastards, then aggressively go after their sponsors. So, why can't this be done? Instead you suggested that Tinubu should ask them what they want. Did Buhari and GEJ ask the NE what they wanted before deploying troops there to stop BK and ISWAP? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:35pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
izzou:NE governors consistently asked the FG for help https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-nigeria-election/nigerian-governors-facing-boko-haram-request-more-troops-before-election-idUKKBN0KF1NQ20150106

raumdeuter:The governor was concerned that the people in his state would not be able to vote. So he asked for extra troops..meaning there was already an operation running. This is a link of 2015. Insurgency started 2009/2010 So which one is currently running in the SE, so we can ask Elders and Senators to beg for more troops? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc(m): 2:42pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
izzou:Everything has to be handled with wisdom. You and i know that if Tinubu just rushes in with the military without getting the support of the governors and other leaders the story will be different. He needs to apply both force and diplomacy. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:44pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
izzou:This article below was in 2011/2012 We should learn from the Boko Haram fiasco. So that state and FG will be on the same page in addressing the issue. If not there will be finger pointing like the below Governor Kashim Shettima, it was learnt said he has exhausted all avenues to overcome the insecurity ravaging his state. The governor said the Boko Haram sect members are known in the state and are just guided by sheer ideology, and holistic approach is needed and expressed disgust over several approaches of the Federal Government, he claimed has dampen reconciliation. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:46pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
afrodoc:So, what kind of diplomacy can you suggest? When i used Wike's method as a means to end BK in the NE, i was schooled here that they are not the same. If Wike didn't brutally flush that nonsense then, Rivers would be observing sit at home today. Innocent people were murdered and some were abducted. I still wonder the kind of diplomacy we need to end that. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:49pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
raumdeuter:The comment you quoted did not ask for an Emergency rule. He said a special operations should be formed for it. Why does Tinubu needs to seek permission to stop killings and abduction in the SE? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:49pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
izzou:To win a war like this, you need the support of the people, Because the people on ground know the attackers and will help the govt to point them out. If not handled with diplomacy and tact before long the same people being murdered will see the FG as the oppresor and UGM as the savior. The same way many Afghan believe Taliban/ISIS beheading them is their savior against the US is the enemy |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:52pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
izzou:The governor of every state is the CSO of the state and FG should not be going until the State govt indicates they cannot handle it anymore Any FG intervention means a vote of no confidence on the state gov ability to secure his state which usually leads to a state of emergency and suspension of the state gov |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:54pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
raumdeuter:Na in the olden days this bolded dey work. If these people knew their attackers, do you think BK and UGM would still be existing? Nobody is seeing the FG as the oppressor, unless you are rooting your theory on reels and videos online. Your (FG) people are being murdered innocently, but somehow, we need diplomacy to curtail it. In my opinion, Diplomacy is what has kept the NE war till today. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 2:55pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
raumdeuter:What security structure does a state control? That is the first question i want you to answer. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 2:57pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
izzou:So without collaboration of the locals, how will FG soldiers know who is Emeka UGM and Emeka innocent trader? Abi shey the killers get special color ni? Or shey FG will just enter there and shoot every young man? |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by afrodoc(m): 2:57pm On Jul 05, 2023 |
izzou:He needs to meet to meet with the governors and other political leaders and come up with a plan for military intervention. A plan that they can sell to their people in order to get the support of the people on the streets and strip the terrorists of popular support. Military intervention in the SE is probably inevitable but it should have a broad multilateral support, not a unilateral action by an unpopular Yoruba president. That is the hard truth. |
