If you're a car dealer and you import cars, would you sell less than your cost of acquisition? What is a thinking president supposed to do at this point? To give you a clue, a thinking president is supposed to implement policies that will ease the pains of Nigerians to cope through the hardship. But what is Tinubu doing? Implementing policies that put Nigerians into more pains. Tinubu only removed subsidy to have more money to embezzle same reason he's putting out more policies that generate income to have enough to embezzle

I might have kept the one on telecoms though. Mtn Nigeria is making mad profits. I assume Airtel is as well. Less certain about Glo and 9Mobile. I hear Glo is in a bit of a mess.

You are right. Telecomms have been making a killing since Covid era and wouldnt really be stressed out from this levy. However, knowing they'd likely still pass on the additional cost burden to Nigerians, it's better to suspend the levy.

Anyway, I advice every citizen of this beautiful country, Nigeria. To embrace peace, love and patience with togetherness. With time we will get to where we want.

Nigeria has the highest GDP in Africa, richest country in Africa. That opens ground for further growth. Let's embrace each other. What united us is more than what separates us. We've married interethnically. I can't count number of my Yoruba people that married Igbo including Governor of my state. Nothing can separate us as neighbors, at least. All these are useless. The communication tax suspension was done by buhari. The tax amendment on imported vehicles had not been put into place. Extending its commencement to a future date has no effect. He should have reverted to old custom tariff as he removed the multiple exchange rate. Timing is of the essence. Most of these policies will strangulate the economy as crime rate will be on astronomical increase. Civil servants will loot like never before. Public institutions will collapse. Shebi una say PMB no Sabi anything. Man wey sabi don come. Lol.
