We are yet to see what Osho can do in the EPL. Ekpiteta is good but not match fit after a hamstring.

Osho is ahead of Marvin by virtue of helping his team’s promotion

We need Felix Udokhai iand Tosin Adarabioyo if they are ready but Shawn Adewoye really showed interest in playing for Nigeria go by his statements.Big question is he good enough for super eagles cuz time to inject young CBs into eagles.

Not bad considering a considerable number of games where not starts.

komekn:

What value does that particular statistic brings to his rating as a player. If indeed it's actually TRUE.

2022/23 from 26 games 4 goals 🥅
2021/22 from 28 games 5 goals 🥅
2020/21 from 25 games 12 goals 🥅
2019/20 from 20 games 5 goals 🥅
2018/19 from 30 games 1 goal. 🥅
2017/18 from 21 games 3 Goals 🥅

So how did he score minmum 7 goals in the EPL for every day of the week when apart from 2020/21 when he scored 12,:he has never been able to score more than 5 goals in a season

I wonder 🤔

Honestly we need young CBs in eagles especially those that are ready to play for Nigeria.I think Shawn is ready if he get the invitation but I don’t know how good he is,any info on him?

Good ratings going by games played but left for NFF to decide.

Bolded is a myth. The thing is that the best coaches in their prime hardly coach national teams.

Spain over the years have proven that it is possible to play possessive offensive patterns with national teams.

The clip belows highlight Spain's plays.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8xSnPoOyuE

comparing a spainsh team filled with 5 to 6 barca players and 4 to 5 madrid players and like 2athletico madrid player to a Nigerian team of 1 napoli, 1 everton, 2leicester city , 1 villareal, 1 porto, 1nottigham and all other division 2 or some ekuke league…bros do you know playing chemistry and understanding will hugely be a difference here

So, a National team can play that way. Now, it took Guardiola two weeks to get Manchester City playing like Barcelona and took Thomas Tuchel one training session to get Chelsea to break the Premier league passing record.

It is a myth to believe that National teams can't play impressive possessive offensive play.

Give Super Eagles to Thomas Tuchel and give him a year to build the Super Eagles and we will play prime offensive possessive play. Same with Guardiola.

Unfortunately, most of these coaches hardly line up for National teams in their prime.

Finito.

it took him two weeks to spend huge on signing topnotch and quality players from top clubside and they play week in week out, oga can u compare it to national team football whose players are scattered around different clubsides(top leagues + semi class league+ backwater leagues)…once again to coach a spanish team filled with almost barca and madrid player is a far far from what u are expecting from super eagles whether guardiola coaches us or not

So it is no more synergy but signing top class players.

Our problem is poor scouting and poor selection. You can get quality players by signing or thorough scouting. If we emphasize playing great and make it a priority, we can also emphasize thorough scouting too.

That is why I said the talk of National team not playing well is a myth.

Also, in one of our preseason games, Guardiola took players from the junior teams of Manchester City and got them playing brilliantly. The team had the likes of McAteer, Lavia, Edozie, Palmer, Esbrand and others. They delivered smooth possessive offensive play. I guess you will say Guardiola signed the top players.

Playing good football falls down to laying the essentials and building on it.

Finito.

Give Amunike the role and give him freehand to build his team. He should pick his coaching crew and National team players.

You claimed to have been born and bred in the UK, precisely England, the original owners of the language called English, but over time you have proven to be very poor with the language, and you always think ambiguity is a proof for a good command of the language. You really do struggle with simple sentence constructions because your lexis and structures are quite poor.

What makes you think that "five top teams..." is same as "top five teams..."?

How good is Shawn Adewoye as a centre back?

I am yet to watch any of the matches that has him as a feature.
Going by stats alone, he is good when compared to what we have.
He is also a young player with time for improvements.

he can be invited and featured towards the end of any qualifiers just to cap tie him

Afterwards he’s progress in Holland will be monitored. He is young and can turn out to become better in the future

We mustn’t wait until these players hit stardom because when they do we don’t stand a chance
