For me, the fake recruiters are the ones that reach out to you on LinkedIn and after you respond, you don't hear ANYTHING from them again.
No feedback at all, just dead silence.
Sad to say, 99% of recruiters are like that.

Mostly in Nigeria

One is currently disturbing me to come for interview. That they will be paying me $250 every week. But I I will have to pay them $600 for for some certain documentation
