lol i was joking with the Bankruptcy, a clear hyperbole. WB as a entity makes enough money elsewhere to cover any supposed losses from any part of the conglomerate. But DC has an entity needs to start raking in money soonest for them to be taking seriously

If DC's movies keep bombing, it's a really bad outlook on the brand.

Worst case scenario, WB sticks to making only Batman movies.

The only DC character whose movies are guaranteed to turn a profit no matter how bad the brand may be.

The cinematography and sound editing was so top tier. The scientific accuracy of the sound editing was absolutely genius, probably the best depiction of sound in a space themed movie i have ever seen, knowing sound doesn't travel in space due to no medium to travel with like air, it was perfectly depicted, instead the "no sounds" were interchange with gut wrenching score by Steve Price creating the chilling feeling of agoraphobia and claustrophobia

Absolutely brilliant πŸ‘. It duly won "Best sound editing" at the oscars the following year.

Boss, I've noticed that just like myself, you don't joke with your cinematography and music score.

You're absolutely right, the sound editing and cinematography was some next level sh.it. I don't think any movie has come close to the sound editing of this movie. The cinematography was drop dead gorgeous.

😁 My brother I just got hooked up on space movies of recent. I barely finish a movie at a siting, most times it takes me 3 days to finish a single movie. But those 4 movies above I rated highly, really captured my attention that I had to sit through the movies for start to finish.

I haven't even seen any of the movies sef, I'll download all of them tomorrow, just look back, my spaceship is behind yours

lol another angle but they have to make other movies as well based off other characters in DC, they can't tell me these characters are no longer marketable. The Blue Bettle is almost a month to premiere and the level of marketing I am seeing, is like it's a next year movie... absolutely next to zero buzz imo. It looks like a ticking time bomb in waiting ngl.

Maan..I don't joke with those 2, expecially score. Be it Hans Zimmer's God Particle Playing as Robert Langdon and Vittoria Vetra search the Vatican's catacomb for the "Anti-Matter" in "Angels and Demons" (2009) or As Steve Jablonsky's Arrival to Earth resonates as the Autobots descends on earth" in "Transformers" (2007) or James Horner's "Southampton" is playing as the Titanic sails away on a doomed maiden voyage on the North Atlantic in "Titanic (1997) or as Hans Zimmer's "Cornfield" is playing as Cooper and his kids chase the drone across a vast cornfield in "Interstellar" (2014) or Justin Hurwitz's "The Landing" eggs on Niel Armstrong played by Ryan Gosling as he lands on the moon becoming the first man to do so in Damien Chazelle's "First Man" (2018) or and this is a personal fave, Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard "s "Now we are free", echoes as Maximus ask for the freedom of his men as he lay dead dreaming of a peaceful life beyond the Gladiator arena in "Gladiator (2000)

mannn film music is bliss, drives the narrative with a perfectly weighted emotion that you will always remember the particular scene by.

i have a large section of my library dedicated to film music collected over the years. I have a very good docu on it. Nothing i enjoy more than a movie with a profound OST or Score πŸŽΆπŸ™‚

You be man way Sabi jare. Steve Jablonsky's Arrival to Earth is my work song. To me, I think Transformers 2007 has the best orchestra sounds track in the franchise. It so much resonated with the movie. As in they were able to perfectly blend or combine the act with the music score. When the Autobots were descending from the heavens, the sound track played that's the Arrival to earth was glorious, as in, you literally feel goosebumps all over your body.

The James Horner's "Southampton" was another masterpiece.

I haven't seen First Man, It seems it's a space movie, I'd gladly check it out now.

Exactly.. I think the originality of the stories is the reason the genre is doing great. The stories are just raw and laced with at least 70% facts, hence the originality. People want to see something new, something they haven't seen before, something that tells them of a historical event they might be to lazy to read about, hence the success of the genre.

I picked up a thing or two things from seeing the series The Last Kingdom . After seeing the series, I developed interest in the formation of UK and decided to read further.

The Anglo Saxons and The Norman Conquest is always an interesting read.

I'd kill for a project focusing on the Ottoman Empire
Or the Fall of Constantinople.
Something about the Mongols and Genghis Khan or the Qin and Han Dynasty.

I'd like for Hollywood to go back to Greek mythos and tales. We've had a good saturation of Viking Lore both in the big screen and small screen.

This is literally Oppenheimer’s marketing strategy: Christopher Nolan says this, Christopher Nolan says that. Na the director name and words dem dey use sell the film. If you are big, you are big.

I've been seeing Blue Beetle marketing for two weeks now... Not aggressive now tho cos I'm guessing WB's focus is ALL IN for Barbie for now.
BB marketing is ramping up tho.
