Lets be honest with ourselves, this work is no longer profitable, imagine, I bought 12k fuel and I didn't even gross upto 35k with it and despite taking few surge trips but before the fuel hike, 12k fuel will gross me 60k without surge...

Just hustling for fuel and bolt commission...

All this noises from cheerfulgiver and pearl is just to motivate drivers to keep working for filling stations & all this apps commissions coz to me, this stress doesn't worth it anymore...

This guy at Oando Badore sold 1k fuel to a Keke Napep, he didn't clear the sale and decided to continue mine, I saw and raised alarm, he wanted to argue, I told not to try I or we'll escalate it.

He sold me extra 1k fuel.
Mine was 5k
Thank God I was there to see she didn’t clear it

Bolt rider jam better Bolt driver today.

Today i picked up one lady at Opebi to Billings way, the trip ended N1,400. She mistakenly sent N14000 to me and alighted from the car. I didn't bother to check because I was busy chasing surge trips. Later this evening she called to notify me about the error. I login to my mobile app to check my balance, I found out that she actually sent 14k. She begged and begged me to send her the remaining balance. I was so touch with compassion and sent the money back to her. She called and tanked me. She didn't believe I could send the money complete.

Moral of the story.

I was reading some comments on Bolt Instagram page some weeks back. The negative comments about bolt drivers stealing from riders is massive. Riders have this wrong perception about drivers to be thieves, not trustworthy, and very criminal and dubious. That alone is giving Bolt a bad name, spoiling the brand and making drivers to not be respected and downgraded as potential thieves.

Alot of drivers would block this lady's number, keep the money and not send it back to her. This is act of kindness is what we should emulate and change the perception these riders have about us. It's really so important.

The comments I saw is really disturbing. We need to change the narrative.

God bless u General. Last month I begged a driver to return a lady 5k. From the way he was laughing you can tell he is a hardened criminal. And I don’t even know how to even settle the matter because it is a case of two thieves.

The lady got to her destination and transfer the money before his boyfriend came out. The guy came out and ask to do transfer, as our ladies be. She allowed him to do the transfer nd wink the driver for refund. Guy man no gree refund. Such a shame

The only one I know I could be guilty of like twice is forgetting cream or sunglasses. Pending on the vibes, I’ll park and ask them to come get it. Won’t drive back 4km on a 2k trip. Reasonable riders will beg nd we may reach negotiation. Some we threaten to report grin no wahala, since you’ve got the mind to threaten to report. Either you find your way to bolt office to claim your belongings or meet me at waiting point. Once saw iPhone 7 and returned it to the owner without stressing him a bit.

This life sef! You will be sitting with well-to-do men and gisting and making a lot of sense. They will be nodding head well and responding well when you're talking, but when they eventually throw the question: "so Mr A, what do you do for a living"? You will feel so ashamed to say, you're an uber driver!
Even when you say you're into transport business, they will still want to go down into it!

This is one of the problems oga pearl + cheerful have with some of us and other people.
Like, is there anything wrong in being an Uber driver?

If a bolt driver has low self-esteem, it will be seen all over his face and his charisma.
Everybody in my compound and close to me as neighbors know say I be Uber driver, but the respect I get from everybody is enough to say they see me worthy.

If I go out to meet my padi, na chairman dem dey call me cos dey know that Uber drivers dey get money (somehow).
The mechanic I normally use, anytime I visit his shop, his boys dey hail me cos dey know say something go drop for them.

I went to a female friend's wedding yesterday, she works where I was working as a salary earner, as I showed up, omoh, see hailing from those who knew me in the company I was working, all of dem know say I switched to Uber driving when I left my former working place, cos I was soliciting for a car from some of the ogas dem that time. I do go to my company once in a while to help dem deliver some stuff.

My ex-boss and his friends were the chairman of the event, when they saw me, omoh, na them called me by themselves, na high table dem sit oooh. I approached dem with smiles and they all had handshake with me with pleasantries. People were just looking like, who be this person wey everybody know like this.

Those guys I met there were waiting for food and drinks before I even came, as I seated with them for some minutes and our tables dried, no refreshments showing up yet, I just went to one woman selling drinks and bought 4 bottles of best cream and some malts for the ladies on our table make we Dey use that one see front first.

We were later served food when the bride changed am for the people hoarding food.
Now, this isn't to show off, but I am proud to be an Uber driver anywhere, any day.
You're not feeding me and I will be shy to tell you what I do to keep myself and family in good shape? Who you be?

Na rental I dey do, I'm not rich, but I'm grateful to God that things have changed a bit and it's obvious in the eyes of the people that know me, even my boss and his friends saw the changes in me.

If I become a car owner tomorrow, it's definitely a step ahead of where I am today.
I dress nice and neat anytime I'm rolling out to drive, I'm proud to be an Uber driver.

Much respect, boss.

Is this what you wanna do on a long run?

Note.. not everyone wanna be a driver rather it is the situation we found ourselves.

It is not about low esteem.

Not everybody's goal is to be one.

If you travel and do care job. You see money ABI but is there growth?

Moving Lagos...is the growth?

Most of us crave for growth in life.

We want to put time and see growth.

We want to be a a position seeing what we achieve and make life easier and cooler with more output
