Japa Syndrome. Urgent Advice Needed As I Can Cnveniently Save 1m Currently In by chi4ik4(m): 5:00pm On Jul 09, 2023 |
Good day everyone, your professional advice is highly needed. I opened my company for about 7 months ago and I can save 1m-1.3m monthly after the cost of running business including payment of salaries. I currently have 11 well paid staff. However: Japa syndrome has kept me in a state of dilemma to close down the company and Japa or stay back and keep thriving. Another factor is the continues poor government policies which affect the cost of running the business. NOTE: I'm a health care provider who can thrive in any English speaking country. Thanks as I await for your commitments. 3 Likes 1 Share |

If you have what it's needed to japa just don't hold back. Because as long as poor Nigerians continue to make wrong decisions the further the economy will continue to crash. 5 Likes 1 Share |

nobody will be able to take away the "japa syndrome" thats bothering your mind. so i would suggest you put a trusted person in charge of your business (not close/sell it), aka you pay them 300/400K monthly to run the business for you while you japa. so that A) you will still make money while away and B) you have something to fall back on IF/WHEN your abroad adventures doesnt get you anywhere in life. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Please bury that japa spirit and continue doing your business in Nigeria, you will make big very soon. Why leave such a lucrative business and go start all over again in another country 4 Likes |

You can conveniently save 1milluon monthly why not run the business more and save more you are not even sure of what will happen where you are going, because no be everybody wey japa he favor and no be everybody wey dey run business for NAIJA dey bleed so in my opinion I would say you save more and diversify 2 Likes |

chi4ik4: Really ask yourself why you want to Jakpa. Be intentional about it. Because everybody is leaving is not an ideal reason. Are you married? Do you have kids? Are you dating someone you intend to marry? All these should be considered. Make the decision for yourself. Not because the crowd is doing it. Since you can save 1m monthly, save enough to relocate completely. Not all these Masters program Jakpa approach. Better relocation to Canada. Never you close down a source of income. It's not a smart decision. Rather, look for means to make the business still boom. 2 Likes |

chi4ik4:With 1.2m monthly you don't need to japa..just keep growing and looking for securities to invest in...you can grow so big you travel abroad for vacation..no big deal staying abroad..na poverty dey make ppl run go abroad..if i was a billionaire I won't stay abroad. Would stay in a cool environment in nigeria and go abroad for vacation. 1 Like |

Spread your tentacles please. Don't limit yourself to Nigeria, no matter how much you're making. Do you know how many businesses, factories and banks have folded up in Nigeria in the last 30 years? I'm sure they all thought "we're doing very well". My advice? Japa, but don't close down your business. They will chop your money oo, but Technology can help you monitor things from abroad and minimize that. Find a way to also start a business abroad, not just going from job to job. |

You mean you can save up #1-3m every month! Well, I think the japa syndrome has eaten you up. However, if you still think you still want to japa, don't close down your business in Nigeria; you might regret it. Nevertheless, you can find a trust worthy person that will help you to run it while you're away. And you can also monitor it over there. Ask yourself why you want to japa? |
