I am very calm sir, @ the text in bold, I have seen women I know personally endure a lot because of marriage and it is their pain/experience that causes me to express myself, because I have learnt wisdom from their stories.

One graduated with a 2:1 degree in accounting, and never put that degree to good use because she chose marriage pre-NYSC over the pursuit of a career/job at the time. This was a hot bombshell of beauty and brains, the likes that KPMG, PwC and others would have snatched up as a graduate trainee with that 2:1 degree. Today she is divorced with 5 kids.

A different classmate I reconnected with recently revealed what led to her divorce. She wanted to further her education as she only had a diploma years after secondary school. In her 200 level degree programme, darling hubby asked her to quit school and when she said she wouldn't because that education was a way to improve herself, problem started, they are divorced now with 3 kids.

Another left a good job in one state to join her husband in another state, where there were very limited work/business opportunities. Misery and depression almost killed her before she got a new job in a different state and moved for it. Like someone said above you choose food before marriage, does it not make sense to have an income source and a good one too, before taking on marriage?

Leave all this talk about marrying your friend, you can marry your friend, but if you have bad/terrible in-laws peace of mind will still elude you. There was a front page story by a woman with such an experience. The madam even quit her good job because of the mental and psychological wahala her in-laws caused her, the husband joined his people at a point to stress her as well.

I quite understand your Point, but one thing you must know is that your story and theirs can never be the same... Except if that's what you wish for yourself.... Their is a reason why People Pray to meet the right Partner... When you marry the right Person he'll never be your secret competitor... He'll always encourage you to follow your dreams....But in all of this family should always come first cos the smallest unit of the Society starts with the family and once the family system is destroyed the society turns to shambles...There are certain sacrifices that are needed to make most especially within the first 10 years of Marriage... The aim for this is to raise a family Properly...

The marriage and family needs money to Survive, your skill know fit sustain you forever ,atleast government work can sustain you for 35yrs. Omg, people wey get the skills still dey look for government work to add. And is good for someone Wife to be working,so that in the long run,the husband will not term her as a burden to him. Assuming am the wife I will require both of us to signed a written agreement back by a law court, before i will agree to relocate. To get job for Nigeria hard talkless of government work,wey you go work for 35yrs and you're sure of your salary Every month and you can easily go to the bank and take a loan and you it and any business .

Funny question but good question. my own case wife was given a fake appointment letter, she abandoned family relocated to Abuja, now dawn on her she been duped, remembers she has a family, well I rejected her for u to leave me once u will leave me again.
On couples planning to relocate maybe one partner plan it but I tell you cheating must occur

she left because she got a job thinking it was real. Women abandoned their husband when he has nothing else to offer her again. Her own case is different

What do you have to offer her that moment to compliment the federal job? You don't want her to go because of distance, so what other alternative you got for her to replace the federal job?
