I'm a typical Bini boy from Edo State, but I've been to Taraba state on countless occasion.
Gembu is Taraba state is one of the coldest LGA in Nigeria, some are of the opinion that Gembu is colder than pankshin in Jos.
Taraba state is blessed with good weather.
Sir, Gembu is being compared to Europe in terms of cold not pankshin or any place in Nigeria.

Gembu has many economic potentials but not used, it has the biggest tea reserve in Africa, it has a state owned black tea company named Highland tea.

Forestry is another money making stuff there, people plant trees under 6 months, sell them as timber.

Agriculture is A in Gembu, they have things such as Irish potatoes, pepper of all sort, sesames, and others in quantity.

Gembu has border to southern Cameroon, so food is cheap over there.

And lastly they have the manbila hydroelectric which would have served 40 percent of Nigeria if only Government is serious about it.

Some company in France came to Gembu some years back and ask the govt that they should give them go ahead to look for other mineral resources in Gembu and that they will keep what ever they find. FG rejected.

Nigeria is so blessed, just bad leader.
