There's no where in my comment where I suggested that they're not patronised by ordinary Nigerians, is there?

Buddha3:
Wema and Sterling banks.

Two financial institutions that Nigerian politicians and elites use to launder and embezzle unmentionable sums of tax payers' monies.

You'll hardly find or hear them in the news, they hardly declare profits or losses, you'll almost never find crowds of ordinary citizens in their banking halls, but they never go broke .
May be English language is my problem

As a former banker, FG must keep eyes on banks.

They are recklessly exchanging and settling FX at their discretion and that's what's pushing the FX price up. Banks must be stable and not compete with parallel market.

How much does CBN sell to banks. at what rate. why will anyone use their naira card abroad and banks are settling at almost N900

By end of year, Bank Execs will be smiling home with billions as profit at the expense of the masses.

Clearly, lot of Nigerians have problems understanding common use of English.

That I said you'll hardly find "crowds" in their banking halls means ordinary Nigerians don't patronise them? Are you serious right now? Do you not understand you can have people around you and not term them to be a crowd? When you walk into branches of First bank, GTCo, Zenith bank, UBA, etc.., there's always the possibility you'll wait on a queue or sit down to wait for a while cause of crowds. The same scenario is hardly obtainable in Wema and Sterling banks.

That's what I meant by that statement, since you're too small-minded to have understood without burdening me with an explanation..

It is not a good idea to open up Naira cards when Naira is falling in value everyday. Increased demand would only worsen the situation

Hmmm..... Let them make the Naira to rival dollars head to head

These will not benefit exporters but will benefit imports, cheap goods, and unemployment. It’s like back to square one.
Wait, I thought economics is a compulsory subject in secondary school? So many Nigerians are completely delusional regarding some basic economic and financial policies.

Well you said "Crowds of ordinary citizens" which implied that ordinary citizens don't use the bank.

I am sure that's what sizeable amount of people who read your post inferred because that's what the statement meant especially when you consider the whole post in context.

You can hardly see a crowds of ordinary citizens also means, you can hardly see much people in their banking Halls.

So the guy was not saying ordinary citizens don't use the banks, the statement means, not much people are using them.

I am responsible for the words I use and how I chose to phrase them.

But I am not responsible for how you and "lot of people" decide to read and understand those words.

And I am in no place to make more than a single effort at explaining those words to blend with what I intended upon their usage. This is not a law court and you're not a presiding judge.

But if you still seek further clarity beyond what I have attempted to enunciate, kindly visit any branch of either Wema or Sterling banks, and my point(s) will be made clearer by physical experience(s).

Reason why I love Wema bank. It looks like an old bank but with innovative packages.... Their virtual card isn't working yet though.

Polaris bank is analogue bank pretending to be digital.... If u no careful, everything is physical, even to update utility bill. Useless Vulte app. Without this app, no functional web version.

Ecobank overdo on digital.... No app, no web version and no working USSD all stupidly connected together.... No usefulness even in African countries.... Only enjoy it with ATM card which is limited.... Now they say u can send money to Africa but via domiciliary from their jagajaga app but u will first convert to almighty dollar first and spend more.

policies.

Thought it will benefit exports more since foreign currency is earned ... But, imports, one will spend more Naira for goods in dollars( or similar 'hard' currencies). Just like now will favor remote workers more.... Truth is for a child of God, all 'weather' of the economy favors him/ her.
