For hotels, I like booking.com (you can filter to see only hotels with free cancellation). You can also use hotels.com, expedia.

For flights, I use wakanow.com (note that they cancel unpaid bookings usually after 48hrs but the goal for me is to only show the flight itinerary, so it works for me). Alternatively, you can try any of the airlines' websites - I know Qatar, AF/KLM have the book on hold options.

PS: Never pay for confirmed tickets or hotels without a visa. My advise above is only to allow you submit travel itinerary.

My TRV has being refused, reason been that I don’t have insufficient funds and that they don’t think I would return back to Nigeria.
I have a Spousal sponsorship application pending also.
I want to know if writing to the MP would help?
Because am thinking of writing to the MP

You can definitely make an enquiry with your MP's office for help with the status on your spousal sponsorship application but just FYI - they are not able to influence the outcome of your application.

Re: your TRV refusal, this sucks but when you have "significant ties" in Canada such as a spouse, you need to fight harder to convince them you'll return after your visit. What documents were submitted?

We submitted our marriage certificate
Letter of employment
Bank statements ( my wife’s bank statements)
Invitation letter from my wife

I'd say yes but customized e.g. each kids' doc will contain all of your supporting docs, birth certificate & photos to show relationship with the sponsor and the rest of the travel group, school files (transcripts etc), cover letter outlining purpose of trip including itinerary, sponsorship letter highlighting all the ties & financial capabilities.

Basically I advise to treat each as an individual application on the off chance that it is not reviewed by the same visa officer.

If it's an overkill, you can leave out things like house documents etc from their docs.

As always, this is based solely on my opinions.

Please how long does it take for passport to be ready for collection after submitting to VFS?

VFS received my passport since Friday last week. This is the last email I received from VFS on Tuesday this week (Your application has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on Tue Jul 11 2023)

Pls how long will it take to receive the passport collection email ? I reside near VFS Abuja, should I visit their office or wait? Thank you.

Pls gurus In the house this question might look like a weird one I sent my passport to Abuja through courier since last week Monday and they haven’t return my passport and is it possible after getting ppr and sending passport for visa stamp your passport can still come back without visa been stamp on it just curious cause people are telling me ppr doesn’t guarantee visa stamp please I will love you guys enlightenments thanks

I submitted in person 30th June and got bit back 14th July. Exactly 2weeks. LAGOS VFS
