I never said it’s not a good move but using the word vindicated is a no for me

I will only accept that if he attracts a move away from Chaves after 1 or 2 seasons to any of Portuguese big clubs or midtable clubs in Spain,France, epl or Germany 🇩🇪

A move to Chaves which is a top flight team is just ok but not commendable to me. Even with such move getting invitation to the national team won’t be easy unless he’s putting out superb performances with mouth watering figures via goals and assist to show for it
Aribo played nothing last season and still got invitations.

I disagree that it would be a huge task for him to get invitation Abi no be our super eagles again, nothing special in our midfield that would stop average performing midfielder to get invitation.

How many assists Aribo and Onyeka got last season, apart from Iwobi i don’t see anything special in our midfield.

Hi egbon what I meant about hitting the gym is adding strength and weight to his physique so that he will have more grit and durability to withstand challenges which comes with the territory of being a midfielder.

Yes I'll be happy for Nwakali if he can go to Portugal to revive his career.

Hitting the gym will slow Kelechi Nwakali even more. He needs to add more mobility to his game. He needs to improve his movement to influence more zones on the field.

Not necessarily. I'm not saying he should turn to the rock just add a little bulk and serious strength to help him be more imposing on the field of play. What's the point of more mobility when you can be bullied off the ball so easily.

Movement yes I agree that's where the strength and durability comes in.

Kelechi Nwakali does not get bullied off the ball because of his quick playing style. He releases the ball fast, drifts into free spaces to give him more time on the ball and has some smooth skills to sail out of tight spaces.

What he needs is to move more and command more areas. Not bulking which will defeat the earlier aim of mobility.

Henry Nwosu,James Obiorah,Emma Ebiede,Duke Udi,Christian Obodo,Jay Jay Okocha are midfielders who only did it with the ball and off the ball it seemed they are nothing but their contributions to the team were immensely…Walahi Mourinho killed Mikel for us,our Mikel was almost turned to a fighter.Imagine Mikel under Guardiola.….Kelechi Nwakili only need right coach to excel not gym

A good midfielder must know what to do with ball and close spaces, not necessarily imposing.

First question, moving from relegated Segunda team to Portugal league is what?hitting the gym?

All Nwakili need is right coach that will believe in him and shake things up.If he is not ambitious he would have put pen on paper for Santander in Segunda again,so let’s just wish the young man well, hope the deal works out.

Yes you are right on Eletu and Ebenezer but you know what,it is good having your players doing it in top tier leagues, having the likes of Alhassan,Onyedika,Eletu,Ebenezer,Nwakili,Frank Onyeka,Joe Aribo,Ndidi and Iwobi is a big plus for our midfield.
I guess guadiola and Jose nurtured the likes of Onyeka, onyedika, iwobi, aribo just to mention a few 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

very possible likewise nwakali and other midfielders in our disposal 🤣🤣🤣🤣

No player is indispensable no matter your past exploits in any team

Also there is possibility that the players you mentioned may not make it in top flight football so all we hv to do is to wait and watch

With Nwakali’s talent and achievement as a young player (at a time was the best u17 player in the world) many won’t believe then that it will take him over 7 seasons in europe to climb the ladder to top tier football

Gift Orban came of the bench to score a free-kick and a lob for Gent in pre-season (his third). He is number one priority for UCL side LENS when they sell Openda.

Lens and Lille have both reached an agreement with Gift Orban.

The difference is Lens have several players they talking to including Victor Boniface. But Lille see Orban as first choice.

Lens offer smaller than Lille also. Orban prefers Lille.

Discussions with Gent would be long because they requesting a high fee and substantial sell-on

Ha Oga Charles you no get strength for argument when I no be Prof thegoodjoe and Chief kokmne.

According to you Nwakili will need to work his socks off to get invitation but Aribo got the same invitations with very poor form.

In case of Aribo you are not the one that invited him but in Nwakili case you are acting as if you are in charge of invitations.

I like Aribo and my comments on him during last Afcon testified to that,so am not getting at you cuz you like him as a player.

In football we must be real like or not, reason why Willy Bazuaye remains the best to me as a local coach despite having talented son in person of Baldwin Bazuaye,he didn’t used his position to favor his son.

Akinsanmiro and Eletu have both been promoted to the first teams of Inter and AC Milan respectively, here's to wishing them an amazing season cause these kids are the immediate future of that Eagles midfield. A midfield of

Iwobi
Onyedika
Yusuf
Daga
Eletu
Akinsanmiro
Aribo
Onyeka is rich in depth and decent quality.

Notice how I didn't include Ndidi, cause I honestly think he's not good enough any longer to be a starter, he's better off on the bench.

Kelechi's high press resistance and quick playing style as regards ball releases as mentioned by TheGoodJoe ensures he isn't so easily bullied. He knows what to do with the ball before a marker comes close.

Also, I did a thorough analysis of our Nigerian midfielders' performance stats from the 22/23 season both in first and second divisions and Kelechi came out tops in Total duels won per game (5.5). So this talk of him being bullied so easily off the ball is pure fallacy. The eye test last season proved as much. Kelechi is one of the few midfielders we have today who you would literally have to foul in order to win the ball off him. He is that press resistant. You can't bully him easily off the ball.

But my main grouse is leaving out Ndidi yet you incude Aribo. Bro, I know it's your opinion but it is my honest analytical opinion as well that yours needs re-evaluation.
