When you consider that Apple is worth more than the whole Africa combined and also realise that all African countries are in a worse position than they were when they were being colonised and most African countries would rather go back to those days before they gained independence, including Nigeria.
Infact, the best period on the African continent were the period before most African countries gained independence. And since gaining independence Africa has gone from good to worse, does this mean Africans are unable to rule themselves effectively due to intellectual defficiency.

Let me address a most common arguement that people bring up when you ask this kind of question which further confirms the lack of intellectual capacity amongst many Africans, they mention the names of a few Africans who have excelled abroad and who did well academically.
Let me state that yardstick for measuring a society is not to consider the outliers, there are caucasians who are dumb but this is not about a small sample, we are talking of the majority.

It does not matter that a little sample of Africans have excelled academically abroad, the reality is that 70 years after independence, the African continent still depends on war ravaged Ukraine to feed itself, yet it has more than 100 times the population of Ukraine.

Also, the African continent has become the most consuming continent, it does not export any manufactured good in any reasonable quantity, it depends on the Caucasians to help to even discover and extract its oil reserves...

Your points are valid but you have completely missed the point of the thread.
When I read history and realise the Europeans have been building ships that can tranverse the atlantic since the 1800's while today no African country can even produce a bicycle wholy independently on its own without importing parts you realise something is not right somewhere.

You're still living in the past. Africans generally used to be highly intelligent in the past before their contact with the whites and Arabs and Islam and Christianity.

Today, the average African is less intelligent than the other races. It's a fact, and that's why Africa contributes next to nothing to world's development and is the most backward of all continents in the world.

For any region to develop, high intelligence is needed, along with philosophy, science and technology. These are subjects your typical African detests, hence their low intelligence.

Not necessarily. My belief is that religion is important in nurturing spirituality. Humans are spiritual beings so whatever one’s religion is, it plays a role in well rounded individual. Even atheists are spiritual in a sense.

Our problem is inability to practice religion as a personal thing. Most people just can’t understand how to support a system that doesn’t make their religious beliefs the default for everyone else.
