Do you add your Biometrics Validity letter (BVL)? It usually sent just before the PPR.

Bvl is not required you have to submit your biometric sticker and PPR request maybe consent letter .

Note: if you submits in person biometric stick may not compulsory because have seen people submit without

Hi everyone, please I need your inputs on the new ircc portal. If the bank statement I intend to upload is too large even after compressing how do I go about this? Can I transfer funds to savings account where I will have few pages to upload and explain to the visa officer that the funds came from my other account with proof? or send the bank statement using webform (does 2mb rule apply to webform? ). TIA.

Download from your bank app,and upload is always less than 2mb

A couple of people had stated that if you loss your biometrics sticker, you can attach the BVL instead.

1 way courier from VFS have gone up to 31,160 effective July 14. But when I submitted it was 18,710 effective July 10. Today, I received a mail acknowledging the receipt of the package saying it was received today July 17th. Na wa for them sha. Let me wait and know if they will send me a mail to pay

Please a Friend sent his Passport through UPS courier service to VFS Lagos last week Tuesday. Till today Monday 17th , July no acknowledgement email from VFS.

Though he saw on UPS tracker that it was delivered to someone.

***Please is that how its supposed to be ??

until you receive a mail from VFS with a tracking number. I hope you wrote your email and phone on your passport data page

Yes. My mom's own was delivered on the 13th (thur) from DHL tracker but she got an acknowledgment email from them today.

But, I have also learned that if you include your details UCI, application number, Date of birth, they will answer you also. Give it a try, you never can tell.

you only need transit visa if you have 2 stops inside shengen area. Ensure you don’t have more than 2 stops.

I sent passport, consent letter, passport data page, old passport bio data page since i got a new passport due to marriage. PPR letter.
i am so confused now as to if i submitted all the required documents or not. I summited Friday. Fedex says - Arrived Transit Station today

My wife and I didn’t study in Canada so I don’t know if we are eligible for PGWP. We both have VV. We didn’t apply with the children. 5 of them. We were advised by the IL to pay $20k for her to process LMIA (link) for her. Then I will use it to apply for OWP. Since she will be the PA. Then we can list the children under her to bring them in. We are yet to go to Canada and are opened to a better advice from this noble family . Thank you

What the person is suggesting is that instead of paying someone $20k for an arrangee LMIA, it is better to seek admission and use the money for tuition fees and you'd get PGWP at the end of your program with this route, the spouse can come in with a SOWP or do like Emmafe, enter with your VV to meet the spouse that is studying and change to WP via flagpoling.

Anyone asking you to pay for LMIA is probably a scam because it's against the law, also it's the responsibility of the employer to get LMIA from the government which is $1100.

If you pay anyone $20k it's like you're paying them to pay you; let's assume the job is minimum wage $15 (Ontario) and you work 30hours/week that's 120hrs/month × $15 × 12 months = $21,600 also note that the government must not know you bought your employment so the agent &/employer may make you work under some inhumane conditions and you can't complain because you're already complicit in the racket and they may terminate the employment anytime, money is gone and you can't press charges since you are part of the crime.

The best is to go through the right channels, if you have the $20k, go for something that will give you peace of mind and probably longer stay with the PGWP which affords you the opportunity of gaining Canadian experience that can give you better points in your PR application.

PS.
I am not currently in Canada and I have not put in any application (looking forward to one though) but I read about people's experiences and I watch japa videos too.

From what I've gathered so far, it's advisable to land at the airport in the province of destination to avoid raising eyebrows at POE.
