There is a difference between passport validity and citizenship validity.
The expiration of your passport doesn't invalidate your citizenship.

Go and check how citizenship can be revoked, expiration of passport isn't one of them.

Simple Google will clarify this but because of party affiliation, we'd rather support strange logics than hold on to the truth
