Expired passport prevents you from traveling out from your country because the country you are traveling to will not welcome you. Not everyone owns a passport even.

Think.. the date on it is important.. Validity has a lot to do with time If ur green card has
no date and says infinite so it has expressly said it is valid.. Your passport say valid till a given time for a reasonn.. So far it is expired it loses validity.. You have to renew it.. Maybe you don't know much about citizenship. It can either been renounced, withdrawn. Whichever way. It has to be official. Documented. Expired passport only means restricting one of using the said passport at that particular time. He or she is still the citizen of said country.

Think of it that they are not arguing at MMA arrival hall they are in the Court of law where what the judges want to see are physical evidences supported by evidence. Technically no court of law will accept "Expired passport" and also not a "certified true copy" as evidence. So Obident enthusiast should use their brain and not emotion.
Besides, does it make sense to say Tinubu is not a Nigerian when his connection with Guinea is ordinary choice obtaining passport of another country. Let's be reasonable.
