I don’t want to get into all these back and forth issues about if ehailling pays or not. But I think a sane Nigerian should be concerned about what is happening in the country right now. Things are honestly not the way it used to be. Directly or indirectly it will tell on everyone, unless you don’t have blood in your body.

Chief, this is not a political thread.
If u meet me talking about politics, u will not want to be close to me if u r supporting this govt. I fit chop u raw. But here we are talking about our experience as ehailing drivers and sharing how to summount our challenges and make the business profitable for us in the midst of the economic challenges. Let's keep it that way.

Honestly the effect isn't so much. Like I said it's 4k on a full tank. Vis a vis how much I will make with my full tank.
If the prices continue to go up, we may have to invest in hybrids.
U gave one hint this morning, let's keep thinking out of the box.

Bros what are you saying please, are you just being insensitive or what? A gas of 10k will fill a tank of 50L. Now we have 18k difference and you are saying the effect is not much, while salary remain the same. It is just a matter of time before it start telling on the people. If they ain’t booking rides, are you going to drive yourself? Can you pay 10k to vi every morning? It is not about politics, but the first to be hit. I picked a lady to Vi from Berger nd back yesterday for 15500 on convert and I really felt for her. Dropped by to get food, that’s should b 20k gone within 2 hours. The irony we are yet to admit in all of these is the fact that driver will work longer hours to meet up. Good economy works for everyone, bad economy rob off on everyone.

If they increase fuel to 1200, we will still be here saying it doesn’t concern me?

Receipt no fit deh. If you have kept your mouth shut, the whole world would not have gotten to know you still live with your mother at your age in a rented apartment. Situation do beat human down sometimes, but yours is alarming because you are not even conscious of the events around you. A grown up man with kids, jobless wife, feeding from his mother? And you come online to insult people? Are you sure there’s any ounce of sense in you atall?

Felicity let your mother breeeth!!! Go out and do something with your life, no matter how small and stop trying to paint unnecessary image online. Even if it is one room, start from there. See your life? Most people you've insulted about not being able to achieve anything driving Lagos up and down, can’t even stay in a room again, while you are so scared of the unknown. Well! Start by moving out of your mamma’s rented room. I get your back boy.
Ahh. Aye mi temi ba mi

I don't whine and complain about things I can't change. Tinubu don tell una say if u like protest till kingdom come, fuel price isnt coming down again.
So what's ur solution? lets leave emotional talk and complaining.

Shebi you where here when people saying Ehailing should Increase price by 100%. Now u r saying how many people can afford ehailing Berger VI to and fro daily?
Where do u stand?? I don't want to be dragged into fruitless talking about the fuel price and complaining that it's affecting my business on this thread. Or will it give u satisfaction if we do and get ourselves worked up with no ability to effect changes?

The govt is to be held responsible, but this is not the place or channel to do so.

very very possible. Sincerely I like what Bolt is doing now with cash trips, They allows you make enough cash unlike before. This is making it easy to pay their commission and buy fuel and still make profit. I am currently owing them 30k, I will pay them 2 morrow evening.

I am not a Tinubu supporter and I mind who I discuss political matters with. Like I said I don’t want to be caught in the web of if the hustle is good or not. There are two options from my view, drive or leave… but to say the effect is not much? Nah! A shift will always effect demand nd supply for good or bad (common economics) from the day the issues started out to this day, I have always plot my way. I am that resilient of a soul. It is just normal for me to view things from both human and animalistic angles. I am not the type that hide info. We’ve shift to Bolt and presently I am working out something on bolt, if it works out, I’ll brief you before going to bed.

And what made you think an Uber driver can not start a revolution? Was there a ground for such? On the honest side, I don’t want to argue about this hustle and part of the reason I don’t join in car talks or how much one makes per fuel. I do have my objectives and God has been faithful. It’s just crazy one adjust to thing, another springs.
