Calm down, it's no big deal, do add a screenshot of the debit received for proper guidance as regards, however;

They haven't been any approval or implementation by the Apex bank (CBN) which gives any Bank of financial institution the right to debit anyone's Account with another bank.

The issue I see here is, your cheque with first bank was tendered as a collateral measure to access a loan in form of you being a guarantor which only by that, can any financial institution tender such cheque in a case of clients loan default. And if your account wasn't funded as at that time, it would have been a bounce cheque (dud cheque) which is equivalent to a criminal offense.

So have a rethink who you dropped your cheque with and confirm from your cheque leaflet and if that be the case, much money can never be reversed nor returned by the bank!
Have you heard of Global Standing Instruction introduced by CBN 2 years ago?

Simply reach out to them to hear their side of the story.
But if not properly resolved then proceed to the regulatory body the CBN and your money will be refunded in a twinkle of an eye.

My brother... remove your money from that account asap. It's a money or let me say loan you applied for in year 2020...One covid household loan. We were ignorantly told issa grant then, never knowing they are going to demand their money back.

Nobody told you it was a grant. You only believed what you wanted to believe. It was specifically stated that it was loan with a very low interest rate (5% instead of the default 9% with a six months moratorium period).

Lol, mumu show proof as regards? Or are you referring to the GSI( GLOBAL STANDING INSTRUCTION) that was circulated in Aug 2022? It was only circulated but not implemented. Calm down and learm from your elders.
It was spelt out clearly in the terms and conditions that, the GSI wil be activated once the time for the repayment of the loan elapses, guess it has elapsed and they have activated it. Same happened to a friend's mum. NIRSAL have started recovering their money.

I have received a text with a warning to come and pay my loan or they will recover it by any means. Fear catch me because this period, i am very broke. I don't know what to do.

I got that loan 2020 November. When will it be due... I suppose it was 3 years after, i will start paying?

I need advise, should i go to the bank and tell them to allow me be paying 5k monthly until anytime i finish paying... Will they accept? I don't want them to chop off such huge chunk from. Me at once.

The most painful thing... My cousin brother scam me and collect that money from me over a business transaction. The thing pain me then

Someone probably opened NMFB account on your behalf, and recieved the fund. This is exactly what happened to me.

About two years ago I got an SMS for account opening containing account number with NMFB. I didn't bother since I never applied for it. Two days after, I received credit alert of 200k plus, I still didn't bother and the next day to this credit alert I received a debit alert of all the fund, I just considered it scammer at work.

Months later when I found out about NMFB I sent them message and they requested for my BVN I refused to give them and I didn't hear from them again until June last month when they sent me a message telling me to repay back loan given to me or they will recover it from my other bank account. I was very angry and wanted to go to their office but first I had to withdraw all the money in my account.

Next is to go to their office.
