Demehin needs to be careful with her tackles, she's already on a yellow card. Just about two minutes plus added on time to play though.

If we keep playing like this we won't even make it out of the table...
The overhyped Oshoala was zero in this match before she was substituted...
The team pass accuracy is ZERO
No finishing
The midfield is poor
Ordega had no positive contribution
The best players are the defenders
Referee too dey do her own ojoro
Mtchewwww undecided undecided

Nigerian female team WAS known for their upfront aggression for goal but not anymore...now they prefer to play even from front to back...
I know Canada team is not bad but we could have beaten with the chances created if only we our forwards didn't play rubbish..
Disappointed....
Thanks to the goalkeeper and the defenders for their hardwork..
Oshoala go dey play rubbish for us here and go dey play well for Barca... mtchewwww

If you are just waking up and didn't watch the match from the beginning then you need to go and watch it all over again I'm not here to enlighten you about the referees' decision

Man/Woman of the match, Nnadozie our goal keeper, it was she against the Canadians !!!

Another standout player was Abiodun the gal that got red carded, it's a shame she won't be playing the next match.

That girl is a rugged player, with a little bit of fine tuning and cool headedness she will be there.

Meanwhile, the Nepa in my aerial are damn wicked, immediately they noticed it's getting to 5am and people will be waking up to watch the match, at least the second half, they took their light. And if it was day time, they won't on the light at all until the match is over. What a shame undecided

Good game good result. The falcons maintained their composure against a top ranked team. Hoping to see more attacking style in the next two games.
Weldone super falcons

Not only the referee was a racist, but also the entire VAR officials. Before our red card, a Canadian player had made a similar tackle on Ohale. The challenge was late and can give Ohale an injury. The VAR wasn't called for the referee to take a second look. Believe me, that was supposed to be a straight red card for the Canadian player because she stamped on Ohale, she even stood on her leg while the ball wasn't with her anymore.

In Abiodun's case, the challenge was late too and capable of giving the opponent an injury. The referee was bias.

Nairaland moderators are biased too. Why can't they move this thread to the front page while the match was ongoing?

That was how I was banned for exposing an impersonator.

The Lack of preparation is really showing on how the falcons played today. That’s why countries play friendly matches to better understand team play and try out different formations. I don't even understand the kind of defensive formation we played today. We were hoping for counter attack but to slow to spread the passes from the midfield to the attack. I just hope we improve in subsequent matches. I will prefer we play long balls to the attack instead of trying to pass our way through.

Abiodun red card was deserved, but there was also a dangerous stamp on our defender from a Canadian player which, if it was to be Nigerian, it would have been a straight red card, but the ref ignored it.

Which hatred are you on about? The dude was spot on the mark. Majority of the girls do not have the flair of the game. They kick the ball aimlessly.

She is one of the best in the field. I guess #10 is equally deserving too.
