Your compressor could be freezing up.
What's your repair history? Did you change AC compressor recently?

Hi, here are the symptoms evident in my EOD 2005 Asian model:
- High fuel consumption
- Pushing the turtle all the way to the ground sometimes and would still not move and other times, it will move with a soft touch (as at today, this one appears solved)
- Black soothe from the exhaust.
- RPM raising itself beyond 1 after setting it between 0.7 and 0.9. This happens after going for a little drive

I've changed the airflow metre as well as the injector mouth but these symptoms persists. Scanner reveals no error. Please what is the issue here??

PS: It was purchased brand new by the previous owner. Also, the car does not come with any O2 sensor surprisingly

Go to MRS petrol station. They do a good job there.

I need a complete vtc solenoid assembly and rocker arm sensor for 04 Honda accord.

The error code after scanning my car repeatedly is P2646.

I have changed the switch vtc sensor switch without effect and also replaced the rocker arm sensor but the check engine light still there.

What prompted the scanning was that I noticed vibration/jacking once the RPM reach 3000 and a rewire worked on it we changed this stuffs and jacking stopped but the check engine light was still there.

And still pointing to the rocker arm, what the rewire did I didn't know. But sometimes when it gets to that 3000rpm there's soft jacking lately but not up to the previous ones. What's the cost for the above mentioned parts new/tokunbo whichever you can guarantee.

One more thing, I noticed the RPM is always high when I start the car in the morning and it takes like over 10 mins to come back to like 1100rpm which I'm not satisfied with, I had someone checked that out, we cleaned the throttle head with cab cleaner and it seem normal for a while but it continued again and it's consuming fuel lately. I don't want issue that will be consuming fuel atleast not this time abeg lol.

I am of the opinion if I can replace the two stuffs I mentioned up there completely, I hope it'll help solve the RPM and all.

I need the total cost and I can get it way billed to me or come down to fix it. I live in Sango Otta axis.

Are you sure the sensors are the issue? Dig further and also resolve other likely cause of the issue

Hello house. I scanned my 2008 Honda Accord and this is the code that came up;

P0011

I cleared the code and drove again, and the code came back. Research online shows that I should have symptoms like rough idle and reduced acceleration, but I don't. Car idles well and accelerates fine.

I want to tell a mech to remove the vtc filter and clean, but I'm not sure and I don't want any unnecessary poking into my engine.

Pls any competent Honda mech in Ibadan?

DIY. It is a simple task. Check YouTube on how to check if the solenoid is working well. Also make sure your oil is guaged

Okay, will do. I just changed the oil in the car after I got it. The former owner didn't do maintenance on time, was showing 15% oil life when I got it. So I changed oil with 10w 40 synthetic oil and oil filter.

That made the rocker arm code disappear, leaving this one. I hope I don't need any special tool for the diy thing Sha.

Thank you very much

Good evening all

Please I plan on getting a 2008 Accord . I notice that when the key is turned to position 2 (without staring the Engine). All dashboard lights comes on except the check Engine Light.

I believe it’s meant to show when the ignition is turned and disappear when the engine is started.

Is it a serious flag pls?

Make sure the check engine light isn't blocked from the instrument cluster. People do this to hide the fact that something wrong with the car. They simply open the instrument cluster and cover the indicator
