Baddestguyp:From the first season alone? Apart from Denji and that one eyed girl I didn't see any other character development. Makima and the rest remain a mystery. But this Hell's Paradise did more for me, everything is just straightforward, idk sha that's just how I feel. 4 Likes |

Baddestguyp:How is it nowhere near MAPPA's other shows?? Which shows? The animation was premium for me asides maybe Vinland Saga and JJK. Although, the animation might feel a bit weird due to the misty or foggy feel they added to the background when on the island. |

pu7pl3:depends on opinion sha... Wasn't into any of the characters in Hell's Paradise apart from the MC and his executioner until like episode 9 For Chainsawman, I think Aki, Power, Himeno and Denji all got good development... I enjoyed the character relationships very well... Even the relationship between Pochita and Denji was built up so well in just 1 episode... |

abduleez1:with MAPPA, there is a certain level of quality expected... The animation wasn't as fluid... It was a regular complaint sef...all over anime Twitter, Reddit and MAL about MAPPA's treatment of Hell's Paradise The animation was good but not what people expected from a MAPPA adaptation of a dark trio it's one of the dark trio alongside JJK and Chainsawman yet it wasn't at their level of animation at all... Even in the Hell's Paradise subreddit, they still talk about it |

pu7pl3:MAPPA sef are working on a new anime called Lazarus... Plus there are rumours they'll been working on One Punch Man S3... Hell's Paradise isn't as popular as these shows...and it will might suffer tbh... Even till now they haven't adapted season 2 of Dororo |

abduleez1:you're not alone, I use a Samsung LCD phone screen and I can tell that the quality of both Animes were top notch. I've seen quite substandard anime quality like Hunter X Hunter and Seven deadly sins but those 2 were crisp. Hell's paradise didn't suffer from poor animation. 1 Like 1 Share |

abduleez1:You're not. A lot of people disagreed and called out the folks bashing the animation. Verdict across the board was that the composition was off in some scenes but most faults were only if you were looking for it. Nothing that would majorly stand out. 1 Like 1 Share |

Kaycee7:Omo, those Asaemon, almost all of them story is GOATED. Even the dumb giant criminal "Giant of Bizen", just 1 minute throwback of his childhood gave serious depth to that character. What of the two brothers, the one eyed one and his kid bro. That former Tensen girl Mei, her backstory was tragic. Even the fat dude with glasses was peak and emotional. It's the PEAK of Jigokuraku that makes the first two episodes of JJK S2 look mid to me. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Kaycee7:anime fans nowadays usually analyze every frame to look for something to complain about... Just 1 second of small issue and they'll tag the entire adaptation as terrible animation... especially the dedicated MAPPA haters... Just see the the JJK season 2 page on MAL after the peak animation in episode 3... If they see 1 second of CGI, they call it bad animation... MAPPA used Rotoscope in episode 1, they called it bad animation... Even one small 3 second scene of 3D footsteps, someone on Twitter made a long thread analyzing 3 seconds of animation and how it's the worst thing ever
