As I said the trans movement is political and social. Some want to normalize it and reshape society. I think Calif has law in the works, where child support services can grab your kids if you refuse to accept the gender they identify with or if you refuse to use their preferred name/ pronouns.
This is a forceful movement to normalize transgenderism just like they did to homos and lesbians.
Why do they need to get married in church, while they know the church preaches same sex marriage in principle?
The suicide rate among trans is higher than in the straight category. Stories of trans wanting to be back abound, it took only 72 minutes with a doctor to confuse a preteen kid to start on puberty blockers and later transition.

Harvard SAT score is a 1500. They may accept someone who scored a 1200, which would still be around the 78th percentile. And the Harvard freshman class is roughly 2000 students with roughly 7% being African American. So, that would be ~140 African American Students in a class. So, let's posit someone got in based on Affirmative Action. That means that student was probably still a better applicant than 78% of the people taking the SAT and given they only accept 140 African Americans a given year, probably one of the best African American applicant that year. So, the question then becomes why didn't DEI help you into an IVY? And before you begin with you live in Nigeria, my g/f went to one of the top 4 schools in the US if not the world and she applied from SS in Nigeria.

But, I buried the lead. My high school that I tested in to is a Harvard feeder school.

And the more I think about the more I don't see a rational argument against it (outside of minors). Religious sensibilities aren't a rational argument in a country with freedom of Religion and a supposed "separation" of Church and State.

In fact given this is a politics thread, it should be discussed here in terms of how it effects the election. If people want to discuss transsexuality in general, why not just start a new thread?

I was speaking to my niece today and explaining to her the concept of "not knowing what you don't know". I think it's a concept you should learn as well. You dive into every topic with the slimmest understanding of it and always come out looking stupid-er. So, yes, that 99th percentile meant my score was.. better than 98 percent of every other college applicant who took the test that year.

It's the reason subject matter experts exist who dedicate their lives to understanding Roman culture by pouring over historical texts, studying Latin and Greek, so they can come as close as possible to understanding works as it was written at the time. When I was in highschool I had to learn Latin so I could study some texts that were originally written in Latin with the understanding that even someone's slight translation of a word may change the text's meaning. I can't even believe I had to write that.

But that is the difference between you and I. I understand the limits of my understanding. I am comfortable doing my extensive research before speaking, fact checking the shit I post, knowing who is a subject matter expert and who is just some random dumbass on twitter and if I can't I don't opine. Humans benefit from the suffering of other humans. That's how it has always been. Slavery was something not unique to the united states. It was everywhere. Your focus on the United States only shows victimhood for no apparent reason.

People who died in flights from the 1940s to date did not die for nothing. Their deaths have made it safer today to fly. When someone says if it was not for their deaths, we would not be travelling. It is not that they are celebrating death, it is just that the suffering and efforts of others have put them in a better situation today.
