Today, when people hear about signs of the end time, what will quickly come into their minds as sources of panick are purported unusual happenings/events on news and their immediate environment that they think will lead to the end of this world. But on the contrary, scriptures affirmed that generations comes and go but the earth remains forever(Ecclesiastes 1:4).
Hence, the earth has been existing billions of years ago without exhausting.(science will confirm this). and it will never suddenly go off simply because you believe in rapture or end time.

But again, when another scripture is talking about end time or the last day what exactly is it refering to. Does this scripture contradicts or negates Ecclesiastes1:4.?

Is the bible a contradiction of its own?

A scripture put it this away, SIGNS OF THE COMING OF CHRIST(otherwise known among the Jews as the Messiah) Matthew 24:3.

In summary of what the bible teaches, Daniel in his time prophesied about the coming of the Messiah who was to deliver Israel from captivity. But this deliverance wasn't just to deliver only Israel, but also the gentiles who were never held captive by the Roman empire.

So, Israel's captivity was a mirrage.
The real mission of the Messiah was to save the world from death which he succeeded in doing by subjecting himself to be crucified and also attend glory in resurrection.

THE COMING OF CHRIST IS ALREADY ACHIEVED AND WAS RECORDED IN THE BIBLE OVER 2000 YEARS AGO .

if this is so, why are Christians today still waiting for Christ ?

They see on news and their environment amount to signs of the coming?

Obviously, they are not.
They are all events that were bound to happen and they have no connection or bearing to any signs of the coming and shouldn't be a blanket for any conspiracy theory formulation by pastors and religions
Therefore, whether things are better or not, life goes on forever as suggested by Ecclestiates 1:4

The new earth in Revelation 21:1 is a figure of speech which implies that the first covenant was passed away and there is a new covenant.

The new covenant in Christ represent heaven on this same earth we are living.

When you relate it with other scripture, Jesus told his disciples in Luke 13:24

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Luke 13:24 when once THE MASTER OF THE HOUSE IS RISEN...

So, the resurrection of Christ marks the beginning of heaven on this earth that the disciples needed to strive to enter, which is the new covenant. Or call it new heaven on this earth as indicated in Revelation 21:1


so there is nothing like destruction of this earth to pave way for a new earth

Or if the earth were destroyed like you said, where then do the kings of the earth come from, can you explain it?

Revelation 21:24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and THE KINGS OF THE EARTH do bring their glory and honour into it.

So, signs of the end means signs of the destruction of this earth for the new one to come.

destruction is a fictional religious doctrine that arises from inability to properly interprete figure of speeches in the bible, it isn't real

That is your wish speaking. Everytime the bible used a figure of speach it said the words "as" and "like". And God also Said His Covenant is forever.

Yes, Jesus teaches love for mankind and creation. The aim is to make the world a better place and not for destruction as purported by people who wishes destruction of the world because their souls are troubled by ignorance and religion.
